What an incredible gem. Perfect location and the setting is just beautiful. Staff helped plan a wonderful itinerary from Beynac to Lyon. Very spacious room. So relaxing. If you saw the movie Chocolat, this is about 7 minutes from the village centre.

The rooms we got wasn't in the main Chateau, maybe because family of 5 we got the cabin looking room with the loft, the rooms are very new, clean and spacious. The front desk staff is helpful and nice!

Spent nearly a week at this property and enjoyed every minute. Convenient to many interesting sights and activities. Room was wonderful (we stayed in the main house) and the service was great. If I ever get back to this part of France I would stay here again.

When we checked in, we were greeted with big smiles from Magali, the lady at the front desk. She was very considerate and helpful. The chateau room that we stayed in was lovely and the view was spectacular. The property was very well maintained. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was just a short drive away from many of the most beautiful villages in the area. The only disappointment was the restaurant. While the food - appetizers, main courses and desserts, were all beautifully presented, the tastes were very plain and boring.

Notre séjour au château de Monrecour s'est bien déroulé : accueil, service , propreté et lieux reposants et agréables . Néanmoins , 2 remarques nous concernant : 1) les frais de sejour nous ont été prélevés 2 fois par erreur et recrédites de suite mais lors de notre passage à l'accueil avant notre départ , aucune excuse. 2) il aurait été judicieux pour un lieu de ce standing, de prévoir un lave-mains dans les toilettes des logements pour nous éviter de revenir dans la salle d'eau après chaque passage aux toilettes . En espérant l'amélioration du service après ce message . Cordialement

Nous sommes désolés pour cette petite erreur de débit, réparée dans les 10 minutes qui ont suivi, et nous vous prions de nous en excuser. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting
We stayed in the main chateau building in a 'Luxury Double Room' which was a beautiful traditional large room and bathroom. We had the hotel breakfast as it seemed the most convenient and it was a very good selection of the usual cold and hot items. Fortunate with the weather that we could sit outside on the terrace overlooking the pool and valley in the mornings. The pool was heated and nice temperature, with plenty of sunbeds around. We used the adults only pool next to the main chateau building, but there is also the larger family pool. The Dordogne valley is a beautiful area to explore.

Que dire de plus sauf que c'était magique. Dormir dans un château c'est quand même super agréable. Celui-ci est tout rénové et d'une propreté sans égal. Nous avons mangé au restaurant de l'Hôtel et c'était divin. Service et plats au dessus de nos espérance. Même chose pour le petit déjeuné sur la terrase du château avec vue sur le Château de Milandes.

Endroit exceptionnel ! À faire sans hésiter.
Nous avons réservé la chambre pour une nuit seulement car nous étions de passage mais nous y serions bien restés plus longtemps. Tout le personnel est aimable, le lieu est magnifique, la chambre parfaite. Nous avons testé le restaurant qui a un menu entrée plat dessert bistronomique à seulement 53€. Parfait

Beautiful chateau with nice pool and terraces. Restaurant excellent and breakfast very good. You need to be pretty fit to climb 4 flights if stairs for rooms located at the top of the chateau, especially with luggage. All staff helpful, great location for visiting nearby tourist areas and would like to return.

This is a beautifully restored chateau with modern annexes. It is set in the beautiful Dordogne valley. The location is perfect for visiting the many attractions in the Dordogne and Vezere valleys. The food in the restaurant was excellent too.

Great hotel, so-so restaurant.
A beautiful place. The restaurant is better on presentation and service than the food itself, which was mediocre, especially for the price. The drinks in the bar were crazy expensive for the area.

De moeite waard!
Kamers in het kasteel en in de bijgebouwen. Wij hadden een kamer van 2 in een bijgebouw. (In de bijgebouwen kun je ook gites huren). Kamer sober, klein, maar alles was aanwezig. WiFi matig. Uitstekend ontbijt 14€, maar de moeite waard. Bij goed weer op het terras van het kasteel met mooi uitzicht. Kasteeltuinen perfect onderhouden. 2 buitenzwembaden. Op enkele honderden meters van Beynac centrum.
