Nice location, but not worth the money
Location is good. Just next to Casino and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. We checked in and I noticed that wifi didn't work in the room. It worked fine in the lobby though. Notified the reception when we left for dinner. They just said that they rebooted the system. Once we came back it still didn't work. Notified the reception again and they said that they have a problem and wifi doesn't work in all parts of the hotel. They had no solution and didn't offer another room. For this rate I expected to get working wifi or at least some compensation if it doesn't work. Reception just told me that I can send a reclamation later when I asked what we should do about the problem. I had informed the hotel in advance that it was my 30th birthday, which they didn't notice in anyway. Instead of some small bonus I just got bad treatment. Breakfast was 5€/person and it was worth it. Lots of varieties and nice location at the highest floor. In total the hotel is good, but not worth the money. I spend the next night in better hotel and at half the price that I payed in Nazionale. +Location +Good breakfast -Difficult to find parking for the car -Breakfast not included -Wifi didn't work and nobody cared

Three nights in San Remo
Well located just next to the casino and in the middle of the main shopping area with lots of restaurants nearby. Our room was in the first floor and sound proofing was very poor. Noise from the street was loud and clear. This combined to the bed which had seen better days made sleeping quite difficult. There was triple glazing in the room so maybe they have tried to pay attention to the noise issue but just the thick glass will not help if structure around the glass lets the noise through. Breakfast was typical unhealthy hotel breakfast with bacon or sausages and scrambled eggs. Roof top area was actually great for sunbathing. You get what you pay for. There is nicer hotels in San Remo, we chose this one because it was the best available at the time.

Hotollissa ilmeisesti tehty lähiaikoina remonttia, paikat olivat siistit ja esim. ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Kaikkin muutenkin ok.

Hotelli Nazionale sijaitsee San Remon keskustassa ostoskatujen ja kasinon välissä loistavalla paikalla. Saimme superior huoneen tavallisen hinnalla ja vielä late check outin lähtöpäivänä. Hotelli neuvoi auton edulliseen 10 euron parkkiin läheiselle parkkialueelle. San Remossa kivoja kauppoja, erinomainen ravintola Paolo e Barbara sijaitsee korttelin päässä hotellista. Myös kiipeäminen ylös vanhalle kirkolle pikku kujien läpi kannattaa!

Next to the Casino
Very friendly staff. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious. Had a small balcony and a view to the Casino. If travelling by car, you can load and unload the car in the corner of the hotel (pedestrian area begins here), and there is a parking lot, where hotel has special rate. This is an open air field near the beach area, not next to the hotel. Lots of shops and restaurants near the hotel. More restaurants by the water.

Bel Hotel mais soucis phonique
Très bel hôtel, 1er étage totalement refait mais gros soucis d'isolation. Le voisin fait couler un bain on a l'impression que l'eau coule dans notre chambre et quand il parle cedt pareil. L'isolation phonique est à revoir.

This was our third stay in this hotel over the years. We enjoy coming back. The location is great, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Rooms are spacious and clean. The only improvement we would recommend is to solve the parking as they have only limited number of spots in the garage and in the busy summer season we had to search for an open spot on the streets. Nevertheless we will be coming back.

Good, but a bit disappointed
The bedroom is nice, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is a bit old school comparing the rest of the room. The team is not very welcoming, but the situation of the hotel is very good, in the center, next to the Casino.

Accueil très froid, salle de bain ressemble a un hospice. Petit déjeuner, il faut faire la queue pour dîner le numéro de sa chambre et compter 15mn pour qu’on vous apporte le cafe. Deco du style Titanic pour ceux qui aime. PS : l’hôtel CONTINENTAL est ferme depuis belle lurette, l’entrée se fait donc par Le Grand Hotel Savoie.

This is an old top-of-the-line luxury hotel. It has been beautifully renovated and it has retained the dignity that made it sought after. It is on a walking street of shopping and activity. Sanremo is a popular beach resort...and yet, in its midst sits the hotel, a quiet oasis.
