”Room was very good. Rather warm, but turning the radiators off and opening the windows sorted that out. A very pleasant stay with the breakfast a 6 mile walk and a light lunch in the pub.”

”Staff were fantastic, very welcoming as we arrived slightly earlier than check in time. The gent from the bar explained all the parking facilities and provided us with a token for the barrier for the car park at rear of the pub. He also provided fresh chilled milk for our room. All other staff were professional, polite & friendly.”

It’s an easy stroll to the Yorkshire Dales Visitor Centre, and there’s a beautiful 4.5‑mile loop walk along the river that brings you back through Grass Wood Nature Reserve. It’s also a perfect base for exploring the wider Dales, with Aysgarth Falls, Hawes, the Ribblehead Viaduct and more all within easy reach. We'll definitely be booking Grassington Lodge...

”One of my favourite places to stay! Beautiful countryside. Lovely comfortable, characterful rooms with horse racing theme! Friendly staff, and excellent freshly cooked breakfasts made with locally sourced ingredients. Plenty of parking. We stayed on a Tuesday when the main restaurant is closed, but enjoyed our evening meal at the White Goose Pizza Co. which is only minutes walk away.”

”Plenty of parking next to hotel room. In my case I could see my motorcycle from the hotel window. Large well appointed clean room with excellent en suite. Lovely views over surrounding hills. Cozy pub with real fire. Good full English breakfast and friendly staff. All good thanks and would stay again. ”
