Better price in Ventura! Worth the drive and freeway close so it was easy access after a long day for travel and graduation celebration -
Victoria rooms are older and the beds and linen are clean/no bugs sighted-

”The hotel is fairly new.
The front desk staff were extremely friendly. Everyone went above and beyond to say hello and to try to assist in every way.
Check in was fast and simple.
I stayed in a King bed room with a lot of space including a large sleep sofa (I did not need this).
The bathroom was excellent. The lighting in the bathroom was stellar ( I HATE dark bathrooms. You can't see well enough to shave your face).
The location is very convenient with proximity to a huge shopping area...

”We were so looking forward to this part of our trip...maybe our expectations were set too high after Tenaya@Yosemite. The lobby is gorgeous and smells like paradise.

”The hotel overall was rushed when building was in progress. The contractors did not pay attention to the simple things. The A/C unit in our room was leaking and wet the floor significantly. The bathroom door would not close due to the door being extremely tilted . Different beds in different rooms. The first room had a good bed, then we switched rooms due to the issues I just listed. And the second bed was horrible. You could feel the springs popping up and down. Overall it felt extremely cheap....
