”Great location Can’t walk to it uphill with luggage but can go downhill to the airport if you can manage ten stairs. Bed is really stiff but that’s the islands.”

”We stayed a bit over a week in a room with garden view (and two night in overwater bungalow via ebookers). Bed was good in the room with a garden view but a lot worse in the overwater bungalow, there were also many pillows, and also there were shampoo, body lotion, conditioner, three different soaps, slipper, utility kit and rain ponchos! Everything was clean and comfortable. Wonderful place and outstanding views, also hooray for taking care of the coral. Only minus was the REALLY pricey...

”This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. By the small beach is a lily pond and the hillside is a jungle of the most amazing vegetation. I was greeted very warmly and shown around, there is a beautiful communal area with a kitchen that is fully stocked and then you have little spaces in and outside of the fridge for the things you buy for yourself....

”The room and property are nice but it is absolutely the WORST internet connection- constantly disconnecting and sometimes had to sit outside my room on the porch- which I didn’t always want to do- in order to have a consistent signal. Very annoying. Breakfast buffet of $36 USD very over-priced for what it is. $20 USD would even be too much, but more reasonable. ”

”We had a two-storey room with a sea view and it was really nice. The view was amazing over a black beach facing the island of Moorea. The service in the hotel was good. The restaurant was full on Friday and you have to take a taxi to get to Papeete so if you want to eat in the hotel make sure to make a table reservation in advance. The breakfast buffet was not much but as it was not included in our stay we preferred a la carte breakfast which was good and affordable. ”
