”This was a stay in a lovely castle! There are ruins on the property but it adds to the charm. The grounds are maintained beautifully, our room was gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed. The staff could not be more professional, thoughtful and helpful. We had a lovely dinner and delicious breakfast in the castle’s hall. This stay has been on my bucket list for many years and Amberley castle fulfilled it perfectly!”
”The property had a large car park, checking in was easy. We stayed in a twin room outside the main property. The room was like a little cottage overlooking the garden. Inside the room, it was very spacious and traditional, with beams. It had a shower and bath, with a separate toilet. The beds were large and comfortable. The room had everything we needed seating area, tv , also the wifi was good.
We ate at the restaurant in the evening, the food was exceptional. I had a burger, chips and slaw...

”We stayed here in the Tudor 4 poster room. While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). The ford was good, the beer excellent and the staff friendly and...

”For somereason our key worked on other doors as well than just ours (we accidently went to wrong floor first and opened an occupied room) The receptionist told ys that there is a technical problem and told us to use the same key for our door.. It’s not a tidy place. I would recommend everyone to pack antihistamins and extra inhalers to survive.”

I don't think they had changed the sheet in my room, and apparently housekeeping does not work I the evening. They gave me a new room. They gave me a second blanket, which made my night ok.
