”Overall wonderful property no complaints at all fine dining and shopping walking distance. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and staff very polite and accommodating. ”
”We had a nice room with great views to the river. Bed and bath were ok, not great. The ac was quite loud and I missed more space to put my clothes into.”
”Great unique property around Chicago that has good valet parking (if you have an EV, they will charge it for you as a courtesy). Rooms were well done and amenities were personalized (upon request) and breakfast (paid option) was very well done and quiet during early hours.

Cleaning worked well, but the cleaners started working really early.
Noise from the elevators was very loud and our room wasn't even bext to the elevators.
Directions for public transport and shopping from the reception were poor.

"My daughter and I went to Chicago to run the marathon. Booked The River hotel as it was one of the few hotels I could find with twin beds at a reasonable price located within walking distance to grant park. The room was compact but it was warm, clean, had a microwave oven, mini fridge and espresso machine. Location was absolutely brilliant. Magnificent mile just the other side of the river and plenty of shops, restaurants, bakeries right next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, only really had interaction at checking. Highly recommend, I certainly would stay there next time."
