”Quirky building which makes a change from modern chain hotels. Rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is available and very good quality although as you have to wait for it to be cooked, it's not ideal if you are in a rush to get away in the morning.”

”The property was great. My party really enjoyed it. The only issue is that it was very cold when we arrived. I would suggest in winter having the heat on several hours prior to guest arrival. Otherwise, a great experience. ”

”The staff went out of their way to provide me with a breakfast in the morning as I was unable to make the time due to catching an early train.”

”Lovely old hotel. Loads of character. Very reasonable room rates. Location is brill. Very close to bars, restaurants and shops. Staff friendly and helpful.”

”A bit noisy but great location otherwise”

”Great location and space. Nice small compact but totally suitable space with everything you need. Would happily stay again”

The kitchen and living area were both well-equipped and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. One small suggestion for improvement: the laundry took quite a while to complete a cycle, so providing a few additional instructions for using the washer and dryer would be helpful for future guests.”

”We had a great stay. We checked in on wed night and had to walk through some really loud music (a bit concerned at this point) but our room was pleasantly sound proofed from the noise. The first night I found the bed springy and hard to sleep in but I emailed management and Cameron quickly put a bed topper on for us and I slept like a baby the next night. Great breakfast (included) and dinner was also really good and very reasonably priced. Great value for money in a very convenient location and...
