”This cabin was perfect for our family for a long weekend. During the day we had access to multiple swimming pools and lake-front beaches, with beach toys and floaties provided in the shed. At night we enjoyed grilling our dinner and making use of the fire pit in the front yard (especially after the kids were in bed). This was really ideal for our first vacation in the Poconos and we would definitely come back.”

”The perfect place to get away from life’s busy schedules and retreat into the woods for 3 days. We drank mulled wine outside by the fire under the stars, went hiking and fished the stocked waters, caught trout, enjoyed the beautiful views of the falls and nature and slept soundly listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. Loved it and highly recommend this treasure!”

”For a weekend away it was perfect. The property manager was great with questions. Like we had issues turning on the stove top. And he walked us through it. Only things I wasn't a big fan of the pictures of the basement make it look tall it really wasn't. Perfect for kids area or short adults.”

We arrived early before check in cabin was ready and J phoned owner she said as long as the cleaners are done you can go in, that was great cause I feel a late check in you actually waste a day. ”My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city.”

”We had a great stay for my daughter's 16th birthday. The house was exactly what we needed for our family. The game room was awsome!! The amenities that were offered were great would definitely plan to stay longer since alot of the amenities are a distance from the house. The houses was equipped with everything we needed. Everyone in our party enjoyed our weekend.”

”Mark, the property owner is very nice, and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The property is not really big, but the house is very clean and comfortable. We had 5 adults and 2 children in our group, and we were comfortable in the cabin. We would consider staying there again if we go back to the Poconos for vacation.”
