”Awesome castle hotel with dinner served in the suite, but be sure to book the suite with the hot tub, the rom was just fabulous with first-class service.”

We were driving from Isle of Skye on a very stormy day when we received message from Mark and Louisa to inform us that we could checkin earlier as they did not want us to be waiting in the storm until checkin time. We were quite touched by the gesture.
The free parking was very convenient. The room was clean and well decorated. The toilet + shower were modern and comfortable.
Excellent breakfast with homemade everything....
”The check-in for the glamping pods sounded complicated with many emails and instructions, but the hostel has very friendly staff on site and it's all friendly and easy management once we arrived. The pods have their own outdoor picnic tables, fridge, TV and electricity; you do have to contact them in advance though to book bed sheets and towels. It might look nice in the pictures and from outside, but is is horrible inside. The smell in corridors is very damp and bad and how the rooms are renovated, it must be rotten inside the walls. The room was clean (that is the only thing done right), but the smell of damp is in the towels too. I´ve never been a hotel that had so worn out sheets (it has holes in it..)
All the sounds from the other rooms and corridor comes straight through the walls and...

Whilst the exterior is in need of some renovations, the interior is clearly in this process with many of the spaces being updated.
