The Kings Head is well situated for exploring Hampshire via public transport and/or car and seems to be a bit of a hub for local residents. The room along with the rest of the hotel is decorated to a good level to make our weekend stay comfortable.”

”We had a lovely stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. Walking distance from town and close to multi-storey carpark, which was useful. There was a great selection for breakfast and it was possible to choose what you wanted for a cooked breakfast. Fantastic, quirky stay with mugshots of criminals lining the walls and prison doors into rooms. Would definitely stay again”

”A lot of noise from people walking in and out, and kids screaming early in the morning. That’s not the hotel’s fault. But some sound isolation would be nice. The room was nice enough, nothing extra there. Bathroom door didn’t close properly. Bed was okay, but not the best. ”

”We visited the Chilworth Manor Hotel for our mini moon after we got married. The receptionist was very rude and abrupt when we arrived to pay before our wedding (before we got married) and made us feel unwelcome from the get go. We had booked an executive room which isn’t the cheapest room in the property and we were placed in a dark and dingy room with dark patches and holes on the netted curtain (room 6) clearly not the mini moon we expected however as we arrived at 1 am we were unable to...

”Saavuimme autolla pimeällä. HOtellin löytäminen oli vaikeaa ilman tarkkaa osoitetta. Navigaattori ei tunnistanut kohdetta. Myöskään alueen paikalliset asukkaat eivät tunnistaneet kohdetta. Kyseessä on moottoritien varressa olevan pysähdyspaikan majoituspaikka, sisäänajo ainoastaan toisen suunnan rampista. Kävelymatkan sisältä löytyi useita ruokapaikkoja. Pysäköinti sisältyi huonehintaan. Itse hotelli oli ok.”

”Great place to stay for a cruise the next day. Beds were comfortable, breakfast amazing and nicely located to walk to pubs and restaurants. Great view of the wall ruins from our room. Downside was no elevator and a bit confusing as to where the front desk was to check in. Turns out it is right when you walk in the restaurant. A bit tired so doesn’t look as clean and had to navigate around linens in the hall to check out. But all in all a good stay.”
