”These lodges are all about the view! You just can't beat the view. Our first night there we saw otters. There are tons of song birds. The lidge had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for my family of 3. Everyone is quiet and respectful. Lodge 7 is the second to last lodge away from the hotel and the provacy was impeccably. My only complaint...I had to sleep on the couch because the mattress was hard as a rock. It felt like sleeping on a box spring with 0 cushion of flexibility...

”Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). "The hotel is located at a 10-15 minute walking distance from the centre of Portree. The views from the hotel breakfast room and terrace are amazing! The lobby and bar area are nicely decorated and furnished. Our room was clean, with a comfortable bed and renovated bathroom. Just a few improvements would make this hotel perfect: The breakfast service would be better if started at 7 am, since many customers leave early to continue their trip. Also, the dinner service ended quite early and the menu did not have enough suitable options for seafood allergics/vegetarians. "
