”I booked this place 1 month before our stay. There was parking nearby. We stayed in #6. We got to the motel around 7pm to check in and the room wasn't ready because the cleaner called out and could not be reached. The man at the front desk cleaned our room for us after we asked him to because we didn't have another place to book since it was so late. In terms of the room/kitchen overall, it isn't well kept and TV doesn't connect to the wifi for us to watch youtube. We decided to stay here for...

”The hottub was really the sweet spot, cabin was nice overall, the a/c and airflow sucked, had difficulty sleeping due to lack of airflow and it being hot, big bear is a little packed and overrated, not much to do. Good if you want a weekend getaway, not much else.”

We did message the facility and it was quite a few minutes before they responded.There was an employee of the restaurant that let us in. ”We had a peaceful, wonderful stay at the Estate House at Knickerbocker Mansion. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and Patrick was responsive, friendly and helpful, especially when we had trouble connecting the TV and needed help with luggage. The bed was comfortable, the wood accents were stunning, and the location was conveniently close to the village. ”It was enjoyable but they need to air out the cabins. The smell is so dingy and dusty. I had to go buy air fresheners and candles just to be able to breathe. The people were nice and that was important. Definitely 2 things bad 8 things good.”
