Views of Cayuga Lake are beautiful from campus. One of nicest visitors centers I've seen.
Thanks to trover Members I'm now lost in Ithaca NY and area exploring and hiking in areas so beautiful beyond words. Today I hiked Watkins Glen and Buttermilk Falls. Now I'm hiding in a Dunkin Donuts waiting for the storm to blow over. Hopefully I still have a tent when I return to my site at Watkins.

The grassy area beside the swimming area isn’t particularly large. It’s both in the sun and under shaded trees with picnic tables scattered. Many people lounge on towels or bring fold out chairs, content with location and not swimming while others jump in or simply dip their feet. The hiking trail along the fall takes you high and isn’t for those who dislike the stairs, but staying below isn’t half bad either. #hiking #waterfalls #upstateny #stateparks #swimmingholes

Very nice room, fireplace was beautiful. Very peaceful and was able to relax. Not too many people around so it felt like we were the only ones there. Great staff, wife loved the spa. And plenty do around the area.
