”It was nice to stay at City Motel, would like to come again!”

”Booked room thru Expedia. Expedia charged my card $158. Get to hotel. They say room is booked but they only received $38. They said I have to pay the balance. I left. Still awaiting refund.”

”This is a decent property but not worth the $240 a night we paid. The property is a need or painting and trim repairs and the breakfast, while hot, is pretty basic but not bad. The coffee is decent. It's a budget hotel at best...not what I used to expect from a Hampton Inn or at $240 per night price point.”

”Check in was slow, there were lots of people hanging around outside smoking weed, the room door didn’t close completely so you had to lock it just to keep it closed and the bathroom had used towels and wash clothes hanging in the bathroom.”

”OK, so first the room is very very clean. The staff is firmly Ish however they use Fabulosa to clean their building and the entire building was overwhelmed with the smell of fabulous so and if you were somebody who has an allergy or respiratory issue, please be aware that this could trigger it. That’s the only reason I’m given at the reading I give it because we had to leave after an hour we couldn’t tolerate it. It triggered my asthma.”

”Mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable. Mattress needed replaced. It slanted like it was well worn. My back and neck are sore. ”

”Not a great place. Basic amenities in a not so great area outside Richmond. You get what you pay for…bed was clean. Towels were barely towels. Front desk was behind a plastic barrier….not a great sign when you first walk into the lobby. Clerk seemed annoyed that I was checking in.”
