”Hotellialue oli hurmaava monine eläimineen - apinoita, varaaneja, oravia, gekkoja... Aikaa pystyi viettämään ihan vain kävelemällä ympäriinsä. Myös allasalueella oli mukava loikoilla. Huoneet olivat siistit ja henkilökunta oli kaikkialla mielettömän ystävällistä.”

”Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge. ”

”Majoitus oli hyvin perustasoa, huoneessa vain oleelliset tarpeet. Kävelyetäisyydellä juna-asemalta jos kulkee junarataa myöten, mutta päätietä kuljettuna pitää nousta mäkeä myöten hyvän matkaa ennen kuin mökit löytyvät. Majoituksesta teki ihanan omalle terassille ennakkotilauksesta toimitettu aamupala ja hyvin avulias henkilökunta, joka mm. pakkasi aamupalan meille mukaan paluun junamatkalle. Varsinaista respaa majoituksessa ei ole, joten henkilökuntaa on ajoittain vaikea löytää.”

”You are surrounded by nature, birds, animals, everywhere you look. The staff is very friendly, funny, and the service is excellent. The property is lush and gorgeous. Its a magical place! But, the facilities are close to 10 years old, and being that close to nature has its «downsides», if you are not REALLY into it. Even so, we loved our time there. ”Tässä resortissa on vain kaksi majoitustaloa, joihin kumpaankin mahtuu max. 8 henkilöä. Paikka on hiljaisella alueella ja luonnonläheinen. Huoneissa ei ole ilmastointia; pesutilat, suihku ja WC ovat erillisessä rakennuksessa, joka toisaalta oli ihan kiinnostava. Palvelu oli henkilökohtaista, avluliasta ja ystävällistä: meitä jopa käytettiin perin kilometrin päässä sijaitsevissa temppeleissä tutustumassa iltarituaaleihin!”

”Detta är ett skitställe där dom har photo choppat bilder på rum och byggnad. Jag har bara sett värre en gång i Bangkok för 9 år sedan.. vilseledande marknadsföring i sin prakt.. antingen rum mot havet utan toalett och kylskåp eller något.. eller rum med en brötande AC ..sladdar hängande överallt och INGA fönster . Stannade där i 40 minuter. Trots förbetalt utan Återbetalning. ”

”Toted as being one of the most remote hotels in SL the hotel did not disappoint. Fabulous location and well run for such a remote site. You certainly got a sense of the rainforest by the time you got there. Our container was comfortable and the bar and dinning rooms spacious. As vegetarians we were a little bored with curry and rice yet again but it was nice not to have to face another buffet dinner as dinner was served to you. ”Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return.”

”Very nice place and experience to sleep up in a tree! The service was excellent and friendly stuff. They did us a big tasty takeaway breakfast 05am because we were going on early morning safari to Udawalawe. There is no windows in the room or bathroom but it was not a problem for us, it makes the athmosphere, feeling like you sleep in the jungle. There are bambu curtains insted of the windows. I recomend this for one-two nights sleepover. The bathroom is clean and shower is good like in a 3star...

”Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular. The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing. The on site food is delicious - the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was generous and was served outside in the garden. They can provide...
