Just okay
I did not have high expectations about the hotel but I still thought it would be good as we needed the studio option. The service was bad, staff seemed like they don't want to work there. Upon arrival to the hotel just to have a conversation with the girl in the reception I said "oh it is a bit chilly today" and she responded bluntly and rudely "well you chose this week to come here". That pretty much tells everything about the quality of the service. The kitchen had really scarse amenities. The fridge was so cold it froze all our food and we never got any apology nor any compensation about that. The sofa in the room was horrible to sit and overall seemed like the place was really outdated. Probably been good at the time when it was all brand new but now just seemed old. The spa had a tiny jacuzzi and a pool that were pretty okay as well as the gym. The beds were good for sleeping though and considering other options in the area I think we chose the best one.

Hyvin toimiva huoneistohotelli
Uima-allas alue oli hieno. Kylpylän puoli oli pettymys. Huoneisto sopivan kokoinen ja keittiö oli toimiva.

Kohtuullinen retkitukikohta turistialueella
Hotellissa on uudempaa ja vanhempaa osaa. Meille osui vanhemman osan tienpuoleinen, maan tason asunto, eli näkymät olivat etupihalla (terassi) suoraan kadulle, käytännössä terassilla ei voinut viettää aikaa lainkaan ja verhot oli pidettävä kiinni, mikä teki huoneesta luolamaisen. Makuuhuone oli onneksi erikseen, eikä katumeteliä kuulunut sinne juuri lainkaan. Vuodesohva oli kuitenkin tässä keittiö-osassa, ja sinne katumelua tuli. Makkarissa oli pieni ikkuna, josta näkymä huoltokuiluun. Jos sen piti auki - melua. Keittiö oli likainen ja jääkaappi antiikkinen, piti järkyttävää meteliä vuorokauden ympäri vaikkei jäähdyttänyt elintarvikkeita juurikaan. Astioita oli tarpeeksi, keittiöveitset surkeita. TV:n signaali oli lähes olematon. Ilmastointi piti ääntä muttei jäähdyttänyt. Allasalue oli tarpeeksi laaja ettei aurinkotuolit loppuneet koskaan. Uima-allas oli pieni, mutta meressähän siellä uidaan ja sinne pääsi kätevästi useampiakin uimaportaita tältä kivirannalta. Suihkut jne ok. Erinomaista cappuccinoa allasbaarista. Itse Bugibba on turistialuetta, mitään varsinaista näkemistä siellä ei ole, mutta bussiyhteydet muualle ovat toimivat. Esim Vallettaan reilu tunti, ja bussimatkat ovat myös halpoja (kertamaksu 2 euroa). Uimiseen, snorklaamiseen, sukeltamiseen, erilaisille risteilyille Bugibba on oiva paikka! Akvaariossa kannattaa ehdottomasti käydä! Tämä hotelli on Bugibban rauhallisemmalla puolella, "keskustaan" kävelee vartissa.

Hyvä sijainti rannalla. Bussipysäkit lähellä.
Loistava kohde syysloman viettäjille. Lämmintä lokakuussa, mutta ei llian polttavaa. Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Hyvä sijainti saaren koillisosassa. Lyhyet etäisyydet Sliemaan ja Vallettaan ja toisaalta lautalle Gozon saarelle. Huoneisto hotellin 7 krs. merinäköalalla oli upea. Rauhallinen ja siisti hotelli. Ainoa pieni heikkous oli uima-allasalueen sijainti kadun toisella puolella.

Not a 4 star hotel
We were travelling with a baby and for us the studio wasn't enough big as we had a pram and we needed a baby bed in the room. Most problematic was the air conditioning which didn't cool the room enough in July. Air conditioning was not adjustable (only low, medium and high options). When arriving we didn't have towels and we needed to call twice to the reception to get them. We also tried to change the room to a bigger and were willing to pay extra, but this was not possible. Room was old, but clean and bathroom was spacious. Hotel lobby was nice. The pool area (incl. access to the sea) would have been nice, if it had been only for hotel guests. It was possible for anyone to get inside by paying entrance fee. During the weekend the pool was so full that it was difficult to fit in and all the sun chairs were taken. Customer service was not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. When entering the hotel receptionists never greeted and when we told politely about our concerns with the room and airconditioning no one apologised or was sorry about the inconvenience. Last day of our holiday we asked the hotel to book us a taxi for next morning with a baby seat. We payed 28€ and they explained it's expensive, because of the baby seat. When the taxi arrived it was a shuttle bus with another passenger and the baby seat was very old and not functionable. The seat was not attached to the car and the belts were not adjustable. The driver didn't know how to use the seat.

Friendly Spa Hotel
We were 3 adults and 2 teens in our sport holiday. This is not the season time but our holiday was as expected. The Spa next door was the reason we have chosen this hotel. The rooms were little bit "old" but otherwise it value for money. The Spa was excellent. We ladies 4 of us, took manicure and our only man took haircut. The outside swimming poor was part of the holiday out of work but it didn't matter for us because the was still the indoor poor and we were able to use the outdoor pool in neighbor hotel area. Only the private restaurant Butcher's Grill was not the one we'd like to. The meals wasn't special, not even tasty. But luckily we found on the other side of the street restaurant DUO. There is meals were one of the best we have ever had. The personnel at this hotel were friendly and helpful. The bus stop to Valetta or Sliema was also in the front of hotel. So, it was easy to travel. If you don't expect 5stars hotel this is worth of stay.

Viikon talviloma Maltalla
Lähdimme hyvän tarjouksen myötä reissuun ja hotelliarvioita luettuamme emme olleet täysin varmoja siitä, mikä odottaa. Paikalla odotti positiivinen yllätys, saimme meitä tyydyttävän tasoiseen ison huoneiston, joka siivottiin päivittäin. Hotellissa olisi ollut hyvät mahdollisuudet auringonottoon, kelit eivät vaan meitä suosineet. Hotellin edustan bussipysäkiltä pääsi näppärästi liikkeelle. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja auttavaista, kaikkiin kysymyksiin saimme vastauksen. Wi-Fi toimi vain aulassa, mutta se riitti meille. Aulasta sai ostettua pientä suolaista ja virvokkeita, erillistä ravintolaa emme kokeilleet. Hyviä ruokapaikkoja löytyi lähistöltä useita. Olimme lomaan keleistä huolimatta erittäin tyytyväisiä. Voin suositella hotellia kaikille, joille kohtuutaso kelpaa :)

erinomainen lomakohde
Etsimme hotellia jossa kunnollinen uimamahdollisuus ja tämä oli juuri sellainen. Iso allas ulkona ja sisällä lämmin allas ja pore. Mereen pääsi uimaan heti altaiden vierestä. Hotelli oli siisti ja henkilökunta miellyttävä. Maksoimme extraa merinäköalasta ja se kannatti. Bussipysäkki aivan hotellin vieressä josta hyvät kulkuyhteydet muualle saareen.

Studiohuoneisto oli ok. Miinusta sijainti hissin vieressä, jonka ääni kuului häiritsevästi huoneistoon. Kylppäri oli vasta uusittu. Keittiövälineistö niukahko mutta toimiva. Kahvinkeitin puuttui. Sänky oli ok. Parveke riittävän iso kahdelle. Hotellilta hyvät bussiyhteydet ympäri saarta, myös lentokentälle. Ulkouima-allas ei ollut käytössä huoltotoimenpiteiden vuoksi, josta olisi kyllä pitänyt mainita hotellia varatessa.

Hyvä hotellivaihtoehto Maltalla
Tulimme Maltalle turistisesongin ulkopuolella, eikä tarkoituksemme ollut löhöä aurinkoa ottamassa, vaan tutustua saareen, joten vaatimukset hotellia kohtaan eivät olleet kovin suuret. Sunny Coast resort -hotelli täytti ne hyvin. Ainoa asia, mikä vähän harmitti, oli ruuan taso hotellin alakerran ravintolassa. Pizza oli kuiva ja mauton ja aamiainen melko kallis. Mutta löytyihän niitä muitakin ruokapaikkoja, ja kaupoista sai ruokatarvikkeita. Hotellihuoneeessa oli riittävät tuuanlaittovarustukset.

Huoneet ja hotelli osin hiukan kuluneet, palvelu toimii ja on ystävällistä. Siivous on ylimalkaista. Hotellin pienessä ravintolassa ystävällinen palvelu ja ihan hyvä ruoka. Uima-allasalue ihan ok, kuntosali kulunut, ranta kivikkoinen mutta hyvä snorklata pikkukalojen seassa. Kaikenkaikkiaan ihan suositeltava keskitason hotelli.

Ihan hyvä
Hotelli on hyvä mutta pari puutetta oli: wifi ei toimi huoneissa vaikka niin oli ilmoitettu, ilmastointilaite piti välillä niin kovaa ääntä ettei sitä voinut yöllä pitää päällä. Maltalainen tapa on ottaa panttimaksu esim. tv kaukosäätimestä, se tuli laskun maksamisen yhteydessä selville, ei tietenkään tarvinnut maksaa kunhan palautti kapulan lähtiessä respaan, huoneeseen sitä ei voinut jättää !!! kokonaisuudessaan hotelli oli hyvä, menisimme sinne uudelleen.

Harmaan näköinen hotelli ulkopuolelta ja hankala huomata, kylttejä ei ajaessa näkynyt ja pääsisäänkäynti on kerroksen tietasoa alempana. Lähellä runsaasti pikkukauppoja ja ravintoloita, ja puolen kilometrin kävely Qawran turistirysään. Sisältä oli siistinä pidetty, studiohotellihuone oli yllättävän iso ja parvekkeellinen. AC toimi kohtuuhyvin mutta piti puhinaa joka saattaa herkkäunisia häiritä.

Tilavat huoneet
Huone merinäköalalla oli loistava ja erittäin tilava 3 huonetta + iso parveke. Huoneet siistit, mutta kuluneisuutta havaittavissa. Allasalue viihtyisä, betoni ja kivikkoinen ranta. Monipuolinen ja melko tasokkaat kylpylä ja kampaamopalvelut. Hotellin edessä bussipysäkki, josta pääsee suoraan lentokentälle (tosin 1 h 15 min) ja ympäri saarta esim. Sliema, Valletta, Mdina, Cirkewwa, josta vene tai lautta yhteyksiä Gozoon ja Cominoon Blue lagoonille, jossa kannatta ehdottomasti käydä. Myös Hotellilta 100 m päässä voi hypätä Malta Sightseeing busseihin. Ruokakauppoja, minimarkketteja, matkamuistomyymälöitä ja ruokaravintoloita ja pubeja runsaasti lähistöllä. Hotellilla myös kohtuuhintainen minimarket, kahvila ja ruokatarjonta. Internet ilmainen, mutta mahdollista käyttää vain hotellin aulassa. Hotellihuoneissa ei ollut 04/2013 mahdollisuutta käyttää nettiä edes maksusta. Maksullinen tallelokero. Perus keittiötarvikkeet. Vastaanoton palvelu hyvä ja nopea.

Good hotel
Hotel was much nicer than i expected with that price.Very friendly staff. Room was clean and nice with balcony and seaview. Enough space, with separate kitchen. I would stay here again. Location of the hotel is in a quiet area in a walking distance to bugibba bus station. Bus to Valletta right outside of the hotel.

hotelli hyvällä sijainnilla, hotellin allasalue mukava, sekä allasaltaalla sijaisteva ravintola erittäin hyvä! ruoka maittavaaa ja palvelu moitteetonta! vieressä olevaa rantaravintolaa sitten tosin en suosittele. siellä söimme kiinalaista - alkuruoka ok, mutta pääruoka limaista ja pahaa... samoin lähellä (pääkadun varrella) olevan italiaisen ravintolan ruoka ei ollut kovin hääviä vaikkakin palvelu oli hyvää. mahataudissa oltiin molemmat seuraavana päivänä. muuten suosittelen kohdetta ja aluetta oikein lämpimästi kaikille! :)

Rauhallinen sijainti toimivien bussireittien varrella. Allas-alue viihtyisä ja siisti. Huoneisto reilun kokoinen ja käytännöllinen. Hotellin ravintolan ruoka ja palvelu hyvää. Huoneiston siivouksessa olisi vähän parantamisen varaa.

The accommodation is away from the main road and offers a quiet location. The pool and spa facilities are located a short distance from the accommodation but within easy reach. My studio rooms were a little tired but clean and comfortable with hot water. In room TV facilities could do with being modernised to enable access to internet and portable entertainment

Our room had 100s of ants on the floor we switched rooms to a smaller room with out. Hotel still charged us the same amount, and this room didn’t have AC and only 2 single beds. We are on our honey moon and found this to be an absolute nightmare hotel and will never return. For the price point there is at least 10 hotels in the area that are way nicer and better value

Ive stayed at sunny coast regularly over the last 35 years. Although they've up made the reception look nice and modern the rooms dont reflect this and havent been updated in around 20 years at least - with furniture, tiles and utensils either worn out or broken. The cleaning of the rooms has also lessened over time. It seems each year I have stayed there has been something else changed for the worse. On the plus side the rooms are large and do have most things you need and the swimming pool is easily accessible. Some of the issues we had to raise - dirty sheets, broken wardrobe and no latch on the doors to the balcony were rectified within 24 hours.

Très bien mais attention...
Hôtel bien équipé et sympathique. Par contre notre premier logement donnait sur la route et des immeubles en construction avec un bruit de marteau piqueur régulier. Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre ce qui a été fait 2 jours plus tard dès qu'une autre chambre s'est libérée. Ouf là nous avions vu sur la mer et c'était bien plus paisible. Piscine bien équipée mais l'été cela doit être bondé.
