”Lovely little hotel, perfectly positioned between the main street and the beach. Lovely pool with lots of semi private areas for couples to relax. Lovely staff, nice breakfast, didn't turn a hair when we arrived 1 minute late for the designated breakfast window. I would not even look at other options next time - would be v happy to come here again.”

”This was one of the best properties that I have stayed at. Pool was lovely, clean tidy apartment really well maintained and operated property. Helpful reception team. Room was comfortable, clean, well set up. Parking was easy and secure under the building. Right in the centre of town walking distance to all amenities and the beach. My only tiny negative was the road noise. Port Douglas is a great place to stay and this property is a great place to have a relaxing holiday.”

”We had a lovely stay, rooms very clean, new and modern. Pools are fantastic and given the size of the resort privacy is not an issue if you are looking for a quiet spot on the lagoon/pool. Dining is a little expensive but there are other options in town. Private access to four mile beach. Aircon facilities and fans in rooms are great although we did get a little cold at night with the aircon not able to be switched off unless windows are open. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. ”

”A nice clean room with a comfortable bed. The tub was heaveanly after a long day of trekking around daintree and cape tribulation. Tv had a great selection of channels. Plus for having a toaster in the room in addition to the fridge and water heater. After hours service was fast and helpful, both check-in and check-out were a breeze. The only downside would be that there's no free wifi.”

”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....
