”The unit was new, modern and roomy. Located in an older neighborhood, the house was comfortable. While in flight path of international airport, after 2200 and before 0600, its hardly noticeable. The house was clean, though lacked some basic cleaning supplies (sponge, paper towels) and upon arrival, there was a noticeable antiseptic smell covering what seemed to be of "dirty diapers".”

”We loved our mini break at House on a Rock - the house is lovely, the location incredible - amazing views of this beautiful part of the world. The location does mean access is tricky - challenging when you arrive with luggage and provisions for your stay. Not such an issue for us and the kids but it was not the easiest for my 85 year old Mother!! We all agree - House on a Rock was worth the effort. All in all - this is a special place and we hope to return.”

”Meral is an amazing host. We were there for the Sydney Ne Years celebration. The house is located approximately 25-35 mins from downtown, which gave us a great area to be in. Not to close or to far. The drive is cool. What they consider traffic well let put it this way we are from LA so it was a typical 10pm Tuesday night for us. The house no the home was very neat clean and beautiful. ”The good: Property is nicely renovated on the ground floor. The location is great - close to the Rocks and Circle quay. The neighborhood is full of nice little restaurants and bars. The bad: Heat! There is no air conditioning (which is correctly not listed as an amenity). There some small in effective fans and a small floor cooling unit on the ground floor (which barely moves the slightly chilled air it creates). Even opening windows to try to allow for a cross draft did not cool the...

”A lovely house with all that you would need, we especially liked the room at the end of the garden. North Sydney is not a place for those who don't like hills, but we would stay again”

”The property was in a great area of Bondi quiet street and a short walk to the beach. The toaster was broken and so was the kitchen sink plug and the window latches were rusty and difficult to lock. The sliding door onto to the outside space wouldn't close properly but did have a deadlock. Overall a great house for a big group”

”We loved the old style building. We didn’t love hauling our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. There’s only air conditioning in one bedroom, no where else in the house. Only one hair dryer to share between six people. No salt in salt shaker. We requested these items but didn’t receive them.”
