”This was a good stopping point for us on a trip. There's not much else around, but there is a restaurant on site that's pretty good. The room was very dated but clean. I appreciated the friendly staff, fantastic view from the back of the lodge, and easy access from the 80. I highly recommend Sierra Discovery trail nearby, it's a beautiful walk in the woods.”

”The room next door had a bath tub spa which was up against my rooms bed headboard When the spa tub was turned the noise and vibration was like a jet liner sitting on top of my room. This crazy load noise and vibration went on for and hour, before the folks next door turned it off. Then I was able to get to sleep. Terrible noise problem with spa tub.”

”Shabby , destitute, trashy, noisy, no blinds that worked oin windows trash and broken wash machines in the parking area, hazardous, nicely apologetic staff in an uncared for dump. It needs condemned. No chairs on some porches or in rooms!”

”We had a wonderful stay at Yuba River Inn. The location was beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. The check-in process was incredibly easy and smooth, which made arriving and settling in stress-free. The inn had a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we appreciated the comfort and charm of the accommodations. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, with so much to explore and plenty of activities and things to do nearby for nature lovers...

”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”Old, worn towels. Very small bathroom (hard to close the door when you showered or used the toliet). Room wasn't air conditioned, which during the summer was strange. Popping open windows at both sides of the unit helped, but with the bedroom being on the main hallway side of things, made it feel strange. The bed was 24" feom the hallway... Walking past other rooms doing "morning activities" was weird. That said, would I stay here again, yes. The location was super convenient, and won versus...

”Gravity Haus is top-tier. We were greeted with a warm welcome, Laura & the rest of the Team were gracious enough to let us store our 2 bikes in their storage room so we didn’t have to leave them outside / lug them along while we explored the North Lake Tahoe area. Our room was exceptionally clean & well furnished. We didn’t have to deal with excessive, late-night noise as the premises were quiet. The pillows might need replacing, but this is my only minor suggestion. I personally loved the...
