Cozy Alaskan retreat just one lot off Talkeetna’s grass runway.

Featuring a large, secluded backyard, surrounded by forest and connected to a riverfront trail system. It’s a quiet, private space perfect for evening fires, morning coffee, or catching the northern lights overhead. Despite the tucked-away feel, you’re just a short walk to Main Street restaurants, breweries, shops, and river views. It’s the best of both worlds: aviation charm, forest privacy, and small-town convenience.

The Airstrip - South Taxiway - The Airstrip - South Taxiway

I am a business owner in Talkeetna and have been living in Alaska for 13 years. I enjoy flying in the mountains and sharing experiences with others. Ask me about my 1955 Piper Super Cub parked in the front yard and fly with me on a scenic glacier landing at K2 Aviation.

The Airstrip – South Taxiway sits in a quiet airstrip community just steps from Talkeetna’s Main Street. Watch bush planes taxi and take off out front, then relax in a large, forested backyard surrounded by trees and nearby trails. Enjoy the rare blend of aviation energy, peaceful woods, and walkable access to local restaurants, shops, breweries, and river views — all in one unforgettable setting.
