”This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!”

”The staff were helpful, the hotel was clean- however, on the Friday evening when I arrived the Internet was down, and still down when I went out after 9 am Saturday morning. Otherwise, a comfortable stay.”

”The rooms were well prepared and clean. Location was very convenient for our needs during the stay. ”

”Upon arrival, we were informed the pool is faulty and can’t be accessed. The carpet on the hallways was extremely dirty. The room has very poor lighting. The bathroom had only a shower so it’s not convenient if you don’t want to wet your hair. There was dirty plates and rubbish left infront of most rooms for hours. Also, for breakfast, I would rate it 5/10. The buffet was stored in rusted heavy bowls and lids you will have to lift up. Also there was no hot chocolate just coffee and tea bags....

”The room had everything we needed and was good value for the price. But the level of cleanliness was not what we were expecting. Could have done with a deep clean and some new bed linen as it was a bit marked and old”

”The Hotel was right next to the event that we went to. The bed was really comfortable, shower was great so the room was spot on. The staff were brilliant and friendly. Will definitely be booking for the same time next year. Price was brilliant as well.”

”This has become like our local. We love the hotel, it’s close to the shopping centre, lovely little area, good for children and peaceful. The only issue we found is the mattress was heavily stained, they could do with looking at these as the cleaners would notice this when making the bed and don’t pick up on it. Other than that, we still enjoyed our stay.”

”Old premises, good for sleeping. Only single glass windows so all noise from the yard and road come was heard in the room. Noisy neighbors in the yard both nights. Breakfast is simple, I recommend to use 8,50£ for eating somewhere else. Kind personnel, quite neat hotel and surroundings. A couple of restaurants within 2 min walking. Bus stop close and good connection to downtown.”
