”A lovely hotel in a nice neighbourhood. Value was good for NYC. Rooms are nicely decorated and good size for the city. Might be a good idea to bring earplugs though. Our room had no view, so ask for a one that does if that is important to you. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

”Great hotel! The rooms are small, but very fresh! The bed, blanket and pillows are very comfortable and fresh. The hotel's location is good, the subways are nearby, central park is also within walking distance. The cafe downstairs is absolutely wonderful, very good coffee and delicious breakfast. ”The hotel reminds me of the Overlook Hotel in The Shining with the old carpet, elevator and accents. That being said, the room and bathroom are charming on their own. During our stay, our AC unfortunately broke down at 11:30 PM. The staff happily moved us from 3rd to 10th flr and it was the best room!!! It had 2 windows and more real estate. Staff were excellent. ”We enjoyed the location of the hotel! The property felt safe and clean, and the room was surprisingly spacious. Some noise from the streets carried very clearly to the room (7th floor), so it interrupted the sleep on occasion. The advertised breakfast was a disappointment - it’s just a coffee and a sweet pastry, which we had to request separately when the front desk said it’s not included in our stay (what it was and luckily we had it stated on the reservation).”
