Vanha Basing ja Lychpit Hotellit

”Overall: Good stay, but limited food options The breakfast here was really excellent — fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice. That was definitely the highlight of my stay. However, the lunch and dinner options are quite limited. The menu is mostly sandwiches, pizza, pasta, and steaks — not much variety at all. In my opinion, the food just isn't worth the price. On the plus side, the drinks are reasonably priced for a hotel.”

”Nice location, friendly staff”

”The room is very tidy and clean. I find the room seems newly renovated. It was a cold night and I have the heater on and the room warm up very fast. The room was quiet at night even it’s a Saturday night. Quite a different narrative to the receptionist warn me while check in. Probably my room is at far end and facing other side.”

”Erinomainen ympäristö joulun viettoon. Palvelut olivat huippuluokkaa.”

”We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,”

”We chose this hotel/pub as it was close to the Bombay Sapphire distillery, I think most people staying were there for the same thing. We were not too sure what to expect as their communication has been awful, I emailed several times over the last few months and had no response at all. I had emailed and asked for an inside room after reading several reviews saying that the outside stable rooms were dark and dingy; needless to say when we arrived we were booked into an outside room! ”Good points: Breakfast was a very good mix of cooked food, cereals, fruit, pastries etc with a decent coffee machine and juice. All help yourself. The swimming pool, while not large, was heated to a decent temperature and the same depth throughout…good for kids. It could have benefitted from having a few hotel-provided floatation devices and the showers turned off very quickly, but the shampoo and shower gel provided were also decent quality. Bad/improvement points: Booked a room with a sofa-bed...

”Lovely hotel and separate pub/restaurant. Friendly reception.”

”Hotelli oli vanha hieno kartanomainen rakennus. Palvelu oli hyvää ja ystävällistä sekä joustavaa. ”

”Ihana paikka!

”The property was advertised as being pet-friendly but on arrival they couldn’t accommodate our King Charles Cavalier so I had to travel home to Kent with my dog, leaving my daughter and partner at the hotel. I then had to travel back to the hotel early the next morning to collect my family.”
