Ihan jees mesta
Ihan kiva ja ok hotelli. Odotukset olivat toki ehkä etukäteen vähän korkeammalla, mutta niinhän se tapaa aina olla kuvien perusteella... Mutta tuloiltanamme oli kyllä porttikonkiin ja eteiseen sytytetty tunnelmalliset kynttilälyhdyt. Joulunajasta johtuen paikka oli muutoinkin erikoisvalaistu ja koristeltu. Paikan päällä vasta kävi ilmi, että samalla Palazzo Odoni -nimellä toimii sekä "Apartments"- että "Suites&Rooms"-firmat, joilla eri yrittäjät, mutta sama vastaanotto. Tästä oli seurauksena se, että jos tiskillä ei ollut "Apartmentsin" virkailijaa, niin sen puolen asiat eivät hoituneet (esim. uloskirjautuminen). Keittiön vaustelutaso oli aika niukka, mutta pystyimme keittämään viisihenkiselle perheelle parit pastaillalliset ja syömään aamiaistakin. Ihan lähellä oli kuitenkin useampikin oikein hyvä aamiaispaikka, joita myös käytimme. Kylpyhuoneessa oli vain poreamme, kuten kyllä tiedossa oli, mutta ensikertalaisten kannattaa ottaa Italiassa tuo seikka huomioon, että amme on sitten vain amme - ei varsinainen suihku, jos ei sitä ole erikseen mainittu. Hotellin sijainti Dorsoduron rauhallisessa kaupunginosassa on erinomainen! Piazzale Romalle on vain parin minuutin kävely - samoin vaporettopysäkeille (S. Toma ja Ca' Rezzonico). Accademian sillan yli San Marcollekin kävelee vain reilun vartin.

Venetsia joulunalla
Residence Palazzo Odoni oli aivan ihana. Se sijaitsee hieman pahimman turistialueen ulkopuolella mutta täysin Venetsian sydämessä. Lähistöllä on useita hyvää ruokaa tarjoavia ravintoloita joissa saa nauttia Italian parhaista antimista. Suosittelen. Yöpyisin täällä myös uudestaan.

This is a beautiful, authentic Venetian property overlooking the canal. It is in a great location 5 minutes' walk from the Piazzale Roma - so convenient if you are arriving by bus. Bed was comfortable. Friendly, helpful owner. Everything was fabulous.

Lots of space in Venice
Amazing large apartment in the middle of Venice and a wonderful place to escape the crowds. Very easy to get to with luggage from Piazalle Roma and excellent communication with the owner. Highly highly recommend!

We have stayed at Palazzo Odoni before (but in the hotel, which is part of the same building). The palazzo is beautiful and in a perfect location. We liked our apartment, but there was a little confusion over the hotel and apartments being separate and it was not always easy to communicate with our host as (unlike the hotel hosts) he was not always around. It was possible to message him, but on our last day, we wanted to pay our city taxes and were unable to pay him in person. This was a small concern, and otherwise our stay was wonderful. The location is quiet, safe, convenient and very beautiful. I would recommend the palazzo (both hotel and residence) highly. One consideration though, is that there are a lot of steps followed by stairs at the entry, so guests need to be mobile.

Spacious apartment, up a couple long flights of stairs. The location is good and the space has good quiet a/c. The only suggestion I would make is to replace the mattress and pillows which have all lost their springiness.

Great room, spacious and classic building. Convenient location. TV did not get major channels. Owner was nonresponsive to email questions including check out coordination. Awkward sharing of entrance with hotel under same name but with clearly separate management, but they were very nice and responsive.

Five stars are not enough...
The Hotel is amazing. Exactly as shown on the site. Large rooms, very clean, nice, beautiful and quiet place close to everything in walking distance even with kids. But it is not only that.. The owner, Michele, from he first time contact us personally to make our arrival easier. Even more, when we faced a little problem with the room he came himself during the night to help us. He also offered us free breakfast (for four people) for the inconvenience. It is very difficult to meet such a good, human and friendly behaviour these days, especially in such touristic places. For this reason five stars are not enough...Thank you Residence Palazzo Odoni.

Me encantó!! vine con amigos y quedamos deslumbrados al ver que es realmente un Palacio, la decoración hermosa súper VENECIA, te hace sentir en un cuento, en otra época y va muy al mismo estilo de venecia que es hermosa, una vibra y ambiente romántico y bello. Las instalaciones nada que decir, todo 10/10. Las camas cómodas, tiene cocina, un baño amplio y lindo. Todo limpio y Michael fue muy simpático (hasta cargó mi maleta)

We had a pleasant stay. The flood caused us to wait inside for a few hours. The owner was very friendly overall. When I called for assistance he did seem impatient at times.

Amazing, luxurious, decorated
What an amazing property! Beautifully decorated and so much space for such a good price! We booked the family room and were emailed prior to arrival multiple times to ensure that we were met when we arrived. Very friendly and speedy in check-in, then we entered our apartment - true luxury! Both a formal and informal lounge, a beautiful kitchen with everything we needed to cook our own meals, two separate dining rooms, couches galore, beautiful views from the windows. Loved it! Will definitely be staying here on our next visit.

Love the location and the building. MIchelle, our host was very kind and efficient. The only thing I would complain about is that there were a couple of light bulbs that didn't work, but otherwise it was beautiful!!

From the moment you enter its majestic doors to see the chandeliered entry, then walk up the steps to its grand foyer, Palazzo Odoni is something special. The apartment is spacious, elegant, and lovely in every way. The air conditioning was perfect. Whirlpool tub in the marbled bath was delightful. At night it was so dark and quiet in the comfortable beds. Although we had heard hotel rooms are very small in Italy, this provided all the space needed for a family of four adults with one extra bed. Refrigerator was helpful. We also liked that it is located a short distance from the train station so you don’t need to drag suitcases across Venice as so many were doing. This quieter neighborhood was a good place to relax. Several restaurants were nearby. We were so pleased with this beautiful apartment!

This is a very nice property, in a nice part of Venice, a little further away from the crowd, but still in walking distance to attractions. The stairs to the room could be an issue if you have difficulty moving around. Other than that it is excellent.

Great location - close to Venezia S. Lucia train station and the bus station, so you don't have to travel too far into the island if you have luggage. Received very detailed directions from the owner, which was helpful, and he was there to meet us and help carry our bags up (note: there is a staircase to climb up). Our place was really a home away from home, with lovely Venetian decor, and a small kitchen so we could have a quick bite for breakfast. Although there are really lovely bakeries in restaurants in the area, so those are worth checking out. Also very quiet at night. Overall, really enjoyed staying here and would recommend it!
