”Communication with the owner was poor, had to chase on several occasions for access arrangements etc. The heating didn't work so had to contact owner to solve issue. The bath/shower leaks onto the stairs when in use. Covers are placed over settee so you feel like you are intruding. Bins were not clean on arrival. Beds were comfy and generally if was ok for a one night stay.”

”We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. ”Very spacious and comfortable room, the bed was huge! Lovely and cosy. This is a very traditional grand hotel in the centre of Chester and was beautifully decked out for Christmas, the level of service was top notch, though we were only there for one night we were very well looked after. The carpark with direct access to the hotel was a bonus as was the complimentary continental breakfast, which was delicious and very generous. ”
