”Basic hotel. Clean and comfy but tired looking and tiny rooms. I had a double room for one person - glad I didn’t have to share!”

”Lovely room, well appointed. The staff were really helpful and lovely. A great stay all round. No negatives whatsoever. Very convenient for the city but also for the motorway network. The spa was one of the best I've visited on a hotel site. Recommend highly!”

”The staff were friendly but very green, during an evening meal and breakfast we had to ask several times for things like water, coffee and toast and some of these things didn't arrive at all. They are pleasant but need more training on staying on top of orders and clearing the tables. Breakfast is strange with you being charged £17 to have access to the continental and light breakfast menu, and then you having to pay an extra £5 for more premium items like a full English. Why not just say it...

”Lovely traditional pub, nice rooms, clean and tidy and equipped with all the essentials. Good menu and helpful service in pub. I phoned ahead to advise of a late arrival (flight delayed) and they were kind enough to accept our food order after usual end of service time. We were most grateful. There's a pleasant outside seating area and lots of inside seating. Board games galore. Highly recommend. ”

”Location was great- 10 min walk to centre. Property was huge- good for hen/stag do, which it is probably aimed at. The property is tired, showers cold or low pressure/ not overly clean. Feels like it needs a good deep clean, wouldn’t want to walk round with bare feet. Unfortunately, one of our party cut their foot on smashed glass in the hot tub. Additionally, one of the children also found smashed glass on the floor in the living area but fortunately was not hurt. ”
