”And mid aged receptionist was slow. Was not to bothered that people were waiting in a queue waiting to be attended too. Too busy talking about personal life. Bar and breakfast staff were really pleasant and helpful Overall the property can do with an update. Had creaky floors in my room . Squeaky mattress and a loose toilet. ”

”Great property. When we ran into troubles with the hot tub the owner was super responsive. The only downside was that there were only 2 towels so I recommend taking towels for the hot tub if you plan to use it.”

”Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”

”Excellent breakfast, fresh hot and cold food with great choice of options. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Nice cozy bar. Excellent location for as we like to be near tourist attractions, restaurants and bars (all were 4-10 min walk from hotel) but off the main bit so it was quiet at the hotel. Close to railway also. ”

”Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again. ”

”Decor was poor. Beds were clean but very uncomfortable. The overall appearance was nice but it had the feel of a HMO. ”
