My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. A large villa in its own extensive garden with plenty of space in which to relax. William the host and Joseph the chef were very friendly, relaxed and attentive. After our 2 night hotelstay at Moulin du Roc we stayed at a 5 star hotel in Biarritz, but we would definitely have rated Moulin du Roc 5 star instead as it was even better! The surroundings were alright and there is a small town close to Moulin du Roc but we mostly enjoyed just being at the hotel! Nice poolarea too just as in the pictures. ”
