”A beautiful gem of a hotel situated on Mt. Varese, quiet and with an impeccable view of the surroundings. A great destination for a little getaway.
The building itself is old, but charming and well-kept. Our room extended across two floors, with the bedroom on the bottom and the bathroom (with a shower cell, toilet and bidet) upstairs.

Location right on the lake-front is fabulous and you can admire the scenery from your own balcony or the beautiful breakfast/dinner terrace. ”Apartment was huge but felt the space could have been configured a bit better e.g. with a kitchenette or more comfy living area. View was amazing (just be aware that the picture shown is when the trees were very young/ had no leaves and they now cover the lake view). Breakfast was nice. Cleaning was good but would have liked the bed linen to be changed - we stayed for 5 nights and it was not changed.”

”This hotel is located across the street from the ferry terminal (small one). Very convenient to catch a ferry to the beautiful islands and other locations like Stresa. Breakfast was very good and included in the price - freshly squeezed orange juice was a nice surprise. Old town is just behind the hotel with restaurants and little shops. If travelling by car, there is a garage, which can be used about 200 m from the hotel - not for large cars though. Other parking places are across the street...
