We are so sorry this guest didn't enjoy Mansion House. We really tried to address the issues they had. Unfortunately we weren't able to come to a satisfactory resolution. We hope they give the Vineyard another try.

What a show Mother Nature put on yesterday on the Island! I am so glad that this guest could reschedule their Vineyard visit for a later date. I checked, and even while our associates were digging out of 8 inches of snow, a confirmation letter confirming this guest’s change of dates was sent to the email address provided. We encourage everyone always to check their spam/junk folder as sometimes mail providers make the wrong choice! Of course, if you don’t receive an email, we’re a phone call away and always happy to provide confirmation numbers and answer questions and concerns. We will send the confirmation letter again, and hope that when this guest does arrive for their stay, they enjoy all that the Vineyard has to offer!

Did not stay, but wrote a review!Unfortunately, this reviewer did not show up for their reservation. We wish that they had stayed with us so they could experience the Vineyard and Mansion House’s hospitality. But this guest was a “No Show” who did not call to let us know their plans had changed. It’s always upsetting when a small family-owned business gets a bad review, but even worse when the reviewer never used the services. A review, written by a person who experienced our Inn can give us the opportunity to improve or make changes, but in this case, all it does is negatively impact a locally owned business.
