”Car park is being re-done got woken up by diggers in the morning. Not necessarily hotel’s fault but noisy guests slamming doors until midnight & talking outside my room was quite annoying & meant I could not sleep until gone midnight. ”

”There were no sockets either side of the bed. Very difficult if you have a CPAP or BiPAP breathing unit. ”

”Run down hotel. Cracked walls. Unrefreshend smell to the room. Not worth 1/4 of the $$$ I paid. Getting out of the bathtub was a fall hazard. Shower pressure was low...on the ground floor I wonder what its like on the top floor. Very unpolite and discriminatory frontend staff. Had paid for a quadruple room but was given a lower occupancy room. The only positive thing was the comfy bed and having a roof over one's head.”

”Great that there was free parking, staff were probably the friendliest I’ve ever seen. Rooms over the bar a bit noisy with music, doors banging ect but it does close at 12 so had a good nights sleep. Disappointed breakfast wasn’t provided but there was tea/coffee/ biscuits in the room.”

”The Grains bar hotel was selected over others primarily for its location which had several teenage memories. We were visiting family in Smallbridge, Rochdale ... 4miles away, so very convenient. Excellent greeting and first impressions. Ample seating areas, small bar area next to reception, large brekki, dining room but lacked atmosphere. Other rooms (not viewed incl Wedding venue) available. Good meals and menu. Rag pudding...well! Yes, the parking is a tad awkward, ie circa 20 spaces...

”Although a little outside of the city it is well served by buses. The room was at the front and suffered from the traffic noise. Staff were very courteous and helpful. It would be difficult to grumble at their prices.”

”Overall its a good place which matches your economic budget. Near to M60 an added advantage. Dont forget to have your food and beverages outside or you can find a tesco super laess than 10mins. Felt good stay happy to recommend.”

”lol when I told my staff where I’d booked they said your staying in the murder hotel (no murders have actually taken place btw) but is there was a hotel you could be murdered in this is the place !!!! I had to share my room with about 25 silver fish insects running around my bathroom and when I showed videos of the rather massive insects I was told we will get pest control out lol ! Course you will ;) the school next door means if you leave for work at anytime between 8-9 am you are not going...

”What a beautiful hotel from the moment we entered we were impressed. Staff were excellent, all were impressive in their own particular fields. Room was gorgeous and spotless. Breakfast was delicious”

”Room was quite big and beds were very good. There was iron in room, also electric kettle ja coffee. Nice bathroom, expect shower without pressure and not hairdryer there (it was possible to loan from reception). Good connections by tram, around until midnight.”
