”Friendly staff all round especially the Receptionist.who checked us in (sorry-- I have forgotten her name) Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.Dinner was excellent although menu was a little restricted. A few healthier choices involving Salad would have been welcome. Breakfast exceeded expectations as we thought the buffet would be more like a continental breakfast but in fact included bacon,scrambled eggs,sausage,tomato and hash browns. Well done!!”

” This hotel is certainly outdated and in need of a refurbishment. That said the room was very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lunch which was good with a selection for vegetarian and lovely puddings. This is an ideal place for walkers or cyclists who maybe on a limited budget but want privacy and a lovely warm bath at the end of a day on the Pennines. ”
