”Hartelijke ontvangst bij de receptie, alle verplichte formaliteiten werden hoffelijk en geduldig behandeld, schone schitterende en functionele kamer, waterkoker met koffie, thee, koffiemelk en zoetstof aanwezig en de kamer was uiterst modern, functioneel en praktisch ingericht. Ik had ook nog het voordeel van alarmfunctionaliteit dat per abuis ook nog functioneel werd getest. De receptionist reageerde supersnel op het alarm en was niet boos maar juist uiterst bezorgd. ”The room was minamilistic. No towels.Shampoo or soap. Extremely nosey as pub on the lower floor. I only ended up staying one night. The staff how ever where very friendly.”

”Mijn 2de keer dat ik heb een overnachting geboekt hier. Mooi schoon kamers. Geweldig pub met lokaal bieren. Geweldig eigenaar en medewerkers. Heel vriendelijke lokale mensen en 5 minuten lopen van het stad centrum. Engels ontbijt van de hoogste niveau voor 9 1/2 pond. Mooi beer garden en gratis parkeren voor gasten. Top top locatie en niet duur.”

”The Edgbaston Park Hotel is a hidden gem in Birmingham. Beautiful location, modern rooms and facilities and excellent food and drink options. A very relaxing and fun mid-week break. Staff are great as well.”

”Upon arrival we were met with loud music what seemed like a soul weekender. There was forewarning regarding this and our room was not ready. We had a child of 8 with us so it was a bit unfair on him. The bathroom had no fascia on the shower temp control and there was mould on the ceiling. The tissue box had no tissues in during our two night stay. The mini fridge was not stocked upon arrival . When I asked if I could see the room before I was paid I was told they needed a managers consent which...

”Nice clean room, staff pleasant. Very good price and perfect location for us. Only downside was the noise insulation could be better. Couldn’t hear anything from the bar but the room above were constantly moving for hours and next doors snoring could clearly be heard. However would stay again ”

”Overall room was clean if a little tired, needing refurbishment. This was reflected in the fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel. I had previously stayed at the hotel approx 12 months (Ramada) before and it was 'tired' then, so in need of capital expenditure.”

”We were literally staying one day to meet up with family before continuing our travels. The staff was very accommdating and helpful. The breakfast buffet had lots of choice including GF and lactose free choices . The seating area for buffet also was great for us to chat with family in the late evening, keeping us from disturbing others if we were gathering in our rooms to chat. The two fire doors at hallway prevented any sound from travelling towards the rooms on the first level. We ate supper...

”This hotel is a hidden gem! The host, Maria, is truly wonderful. Her attention to detail is fab, and she couldn't be anymore helpful and welcoming. Maria stayed late for my colleagues check in and then came in early to accommodate us for an early breakfast. The dinner was divine - strongly recommend the tikka curry. Home cooked, beautiful meal. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I will ensure I book here when I visit Birmingham again!!!”
