”It was a good value, its an older hotel that has some updates. The room was clean, but there are lingering smells of an old hotel. No bugs, quiet, and clean sheets/towels - that's a win in my book! This was a 1 night stay on a weekend.”

”Tried to charge me 11$ more than the price I was given online when I made the reservation. I showed him the confirmation email and he then refused to rent me a room all together over me wanting him to honor the price I had already confirmed online. Did so by using various hand signs because his English was less than understandable. Terrible experience and the place appeared to be filthy going by what the parking lot and lobby looked like. ”CALl IT WHAT IT IS If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. I am not sure why they chose to include “resort” in naming this place. It is very clearly a nice rustic campground with four hostel...

I guess people live there.They have cats and dogs barking all night n all day . I had to clean the bathroom. It was full of Ashes and cigarettes. I had to go and get towels and paper toilet at the front desk. At the one towel they left behind was disgusting. I will never stay there again. ”The nicest hotel in the region west of Asheville east of Knoxville. Very large rooms with very nice accommodations. The only thing one could pick at was the bed was a touch soft but I just really liked the property, town, college and things to do”
