”Rainwater was seeping in through the window and wetting the air conditioning unit, causing it to shut down. The breakfast service was severely neglected; there was absolutely no one there to replenish the food, despite the fact that many families were waiting to be served. Overall, the service is very poor, especially considering how expensive the rooms are.”

”The parking was a mess, the streets are under construction, and the parking lot has lots of pot holes.”

”The property is beautifully designed and very posh, but unfortunately the window shades don’t block out the exterior lighting at night, and the street noise is quite overwhelming.”

”Our stay at the Terrell House was wonderful. Michelle and the staff made sure our arrival went smoothly and explained everything we needed to know. You're pretty close to great restaurants and shops (about a half mile - walk or Uber). They recommended Gris Gris and it was great - we ate their twice in 3 days. Finally, the breakfasts were superb. When we come back to New Orleans, we'll stay here again.”

”Loved the atmosphere, staff, amenities. We’ve stayed at Marriott’s, Hyatt’s, etc. All the same feel. This is a fun, unique, artistic piece of property. And the staff is fun, professional and very welcoming. I don’t care about a gym or pool. Great restaurant and bar facilities, too. Our room had a great view, was large, funky. Clean. ”

”I went for my 5 year anniversary and I can say that we loved our stay. The staff always made sure we were well accommodated from the moment before we arrived to the inn until the very last day. The energy and vibes were amazing and relaxing. It exceded my expectations. The food and restaurants facilities were also wonderful.”

Cleaning staff were not consistently friendly or thoughtful e.g. three of us in a room did not result in three towels or adequate coffee supplies, despite rooms only being cleaned upon 24 hour advance request. Free parking is appreciated and while there is no free breakfast the food service area is large and varied. No restaurant with staffed table service.
