An excellent downtown location
A good hotel with an excellent downtown location. Rooms were fresh. Restaurant services were a bit limited and the restaurant/bar area was not very ”welcoming”. Only valet parking available, however, it worked well.

Very little tea or coffee in room available. Staff did not assist with baggage to room on arrival. Drawer in room shut violently, loudly. Overall, was nothing special to warrant staying again here.

Great location in the city. Happy hour was a joke, had to purchase our drinks elsewhere. Room was a good size and tidy for the price. Enjoyed the view of the bay and city from our room. Overall good value and location was a bonus.

Everything was great. My only problem was the struggle to find parking for my ute. The parking areas nearby were not big enough for it so i had to park out on the road which wasnt always empty. Other than that it was great!

Only the one small elevator operating was a problem when trying to access with bags, was never enough room particularly when you were situated on the middle floors when you were never first to get on.

Quick elevator ride down to Lampton Quay and a quick walk to the waterfront. Close to the cable car and botanical garden . Also a short walking distance to the national museum.

Luxurious room.
It was a last minute booking and I was very impressed with the room. I booked it because I thought the carpark was also included, but it wasn’t. Parking was $25 per day next door. The room included everything and was quite luxurious. Loved the pretty towel design. It was closed to town and where I needed to be to drop my daughter off to Halls.
The towel design was a very nice touch.

Hôtel très bien situé et personnel fort sympathique à l’accueil. Malheureusement, pas de buanderie, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur la fiche Expédia. Il faut plutôt aller faire son lavage à l’hôtel Ibis à quelques coins de rue de là, ce qui est peu pratique.

The valet parking was disappointing so we used the parking building next door, which had very limited parking in incredibly tight positions. The lift to Lampton Quay stopped at 7pm every night so we were told to use the neighbouring Hotei's lift which didn't have the same restrictions.

Nice clean room, decent buffet breakfast. Basics like water was $10 a bottle, beer even more than that. Gym is MUCH smaller than it looks in picture. Unlike most hotels was unable to help with simple requests like voltage converter. Decent hotel as a part of a cheap package deal through Expedia but would not seek out this property on my own.

Great location.
The hotel was a bit dated but very clean and comfortable rooms. Great beds. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate, with a good variety of foods. A suggestion would be for staff to roam with tea and coffee , and to offer cappuccino for those who wished to pay for it. It would also be advantageous if staff roamed to collect crockery as dishes were finished.

This is a very drab and shabby hotel, and with not enough staff. Certainly not 4 stars by any stretch. The rooms are tired and not particularly clean (remote control was truly disgusting!). Would not stay here again.

Great stay in a great central location. No problems with checking in or out. Parking in CBD is always a hassle and the parking space was tight but that’s Wellington. Would stay again.

I specifically asked for a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath, I emailed and asked in writing and got emailed back saying yes all sorted. In a hurry on the day turn up late and walk in and its a bath! The bathroom door had a really bad squeak and needs oiling to stop waking your partner every time you open the door. Good location, expensive for what you get though and lack of attention by staff.
