”Absolutely fantastic, the staff are really lovely and welcoming. The hotel and grounds are first class. Food in the restaurant and bar is very well presented and delicious. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. If you're ever in Horsley this hotel is definitely worth staying in. A short walk from the hotel is the towers, a stately hall with stunning surroundings. The rates for the room is excellent value for money. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be booking another...
”The young lady who checked us in on Saturday 28th June was superb. Very professional and friendly and set a lovely tone to the start of our trip. The honesty bar, although we didn't use it, was a lovely touch and the garden was lovely to sit out in.”

"This was a good affordable hotel to stay in for one night. We had a big room which was comfortable, but a bit cool. The shuttle service was convenient although it was not free. "
"4 stars for this hotel is way too much...the room smelled for mould. It was dark and corridors felt like "redrum". But absolutely worst part was the restaurant. Even though in the evening it was half-empty, it took over half 'n' hour to get the food. Yet once we got it fries were cold and daughter's pasta was swimming in butter though it was supposed to be some sort of a cream pasta. I'm not a cook but that had nothing to do with cream pasta. Neither waitress nor manager paid any attention to our claims. Same nonexisting service continued on breakfast. I could add that we had to fight for pur breakfast because there was hardly anything to serve. Worst hotel I've experienced for long time and I travel a lot..."
