”Welcome drink on arrival... Still waiting for it! Raised issues with staff that were handled professionally but could have easily been avoided. Buffet style breakfast with choice of additional cooked to order dishes and continental options 5*. The surroundings were breathtaking. ”We stayed only one evening. Young woman on reception was friendly and smiley. Ordinary double room was very clean with a lovely soft comfy bed. We had the carvery in the evening which was wonderful. Amazing value for money. Breakfast was delicious with friendly helpful staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel. Our thanks to all staff for a happy stay. ”

”Ideally placed in the centre of Knaresborough, we were welcomed warmly. The room was lovely with a generous bathroom attached. Plenty of teabags, coffee and hot chocolate sachets and fresh milk was kept in a small fridge. The chocolate was a nice touch alongside the complementary biscuits. It was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious. We will certainly visit again. ”

”We've stayed before, the hotel overall is extremely good and staff in all areas and departments are polite and very helpful. The hotel is quite busy remains quiet and relaxing. If there is a downside, the bathrooms are tired and need upgrading. We always have an exec room. They have been modernised and upgraded, with the exception of carpets. But the bathrooms have not. Our extractor fan didn't work at all. ”

”Perfect for a single room, single night stopover. Great central location, lots of great bar, cafe and restaurant options - as well as being right across from the conventions venue. The room and bathroom were small but perfect for my needs. Immaculately clean, very quiet, with everything I needed. And the bed was blissfully comfortable! Friendly greeting by staff on arrival too. Would definitely stay here again. ”

”would be 5 stars for service but its unmanned on arrival. however lovely service at breakfast which full english was delicious. Room 5 on the top floor was perfect - so quiet and relaxing - nice view and the large walk in shower was excellent! bed was so comfy - best sleep for a long time. couldn't get parked as only 5 spaces in private car park but can park just metres away on public road. two minute walk to start of town centre.”
