Tämä "taivas maan päällä" Chimney Hill Resort sijaitsee strategisesti lähellä Albany NY, Monadnock Mountain NH (maailman eniten / toiseksi eniten kiivetä vuori), Berkshire Mountain ja paljon muita paikkoja.

"Heaven on Earth" Chimney Hill Resort sijaitsee Green Mountainin alueen sydämessä. Se on myös 1 tunti. 20 min. Albany NY, 1 h. 20 min. Monadnockin vuoristosta, 20 minuutin päässä New Hampshiren lähimmästä pisteestä ja Kanadan lähin kohta on noin 3. 5-4 h. Huomaa, että korkeintaan 16 henkeä mahtuu 3 lapsiperhettä. Meidän sängyn perustaminen ei salli yli 3 paria. Lisämaksu 25 dollaria per yö per henkilö peritään jokaisen henkilön jälkeen 8 henkilöä.

Huomaa, että meillä on vähintään 3 yötä vaatimus lomille, kuten MLK-päivä, presidentinpäivä, muistopäivä, heinäkuun neljäs, työpäivä, Columbus-päivä, veteraanipäivä, joulu, uusivuosi jne.

Talvikuukausina 4WD on pakollinen.

My family and I loved our stay. This cabin had everything we needed and more. One thing we do wish we had was fans in the upstairs rooms, as we stayed in the summer time and it did get quite hot up there. The owners were very helpful, and amazing with communication. We would absolutely love to stay here again one day!

White Water Rafting Trip

This cabin is geared more for Winter and skiing since there is no air conditioning. Our family of 5 guys stayed here on 7/25/2025 because it was not that far from our rafting location, hiking and other attractions in southern VT. The cabin is very clean and the kitchen is stocked for all one's needs. We spent several nights after dinner around the firepit. We very much enjoyed staying here.

Comfortable cabin with hot tub in a great location

We had a great time at this cabin - the house was well equipped, including spices and condiments that made cooking easy. The hot tub and foozball table were a hit with our family. Access to the Chimney Hill amenities was great while being in the lower neighborhood made it easier to get out and about more quickly.

Nice Clubhouse!

We decided to make a 3-family long weekend trip to Mount Snow because we couldn't find any rentals close to Okemo, which is our preferred mountain. I must admit we booked pretty last minute, so pickings were slim. This listing was the only one that would sleep 12 and allowed dogs, so regardless of some questionable reviews, we decided to go for it. I wouldn't recommend this place for 12 people; the kitchen and dining area is rather small and cramped with a large table, so it was a bit claustrophobic for me personally. I think it would be find with only 2 families, but obviously more expensive per family. As the listing mentioned, there are labels.....SO MANY labels. Imagine taking a P-touch and trying to label EVERYTHING in your house - that's the kind of labeling we're talking about. Not a problem at all, we actually joked about it all weekend and many of the labels are very helpful. You should also be "Christian-friendly" if you stay here. If you have anything against Christianity, this might not be the place for you - it's in your face everywhere. Not an issue for us, but wanted others to be aware. As others have mentioned, the outside is under surveillance and the owner will watch the footage to check your headcount, monitor noise in the hot tub, etc. We knew this going in and while it was a little weird, it was not really a problem. In closing, we had a nice stay but we would not come back to this property. We would recommend to others and thank the owner for having us.

Perfect home base for a ski trip with friends/family

This cabin was a great home base for our group during a New Year's ski trip. It feels much larger once you're inside. The layout is a bit odd, with one of the main bathrooms being through to a main bedroom (which does also have its own beautiful sliding barn door entrance right off the living room), but it worked just fine for us. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin with the fireplace and the hot tub post-skiing. Everything is labeled so there are never any questions. It was a holiday weekend so getting someone out to clear the snow on the roof and salt the steps wasn't possible, so we did need to be extra careful. This was pre-warned by the host. All was well. Jivka was attentive and even helpful post-stay when something was lost. All-in-all a wonderful weekend. We recommend staying here.

Spent time hiking nearby, dining in town & Brattleboro. Loved the cozy comfortable Ed’s of this house. Enjoy some wine & cheese on deck, then jumped into the hot tub. Also, had a lovely espresso by the fire pit. Conveniently located, quiet, clean & comfortable!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this property. It was very clean and super organized. The location was perfect for us to go hiking and take a 5 minute drive into town. We would definitely recommend this rental to a family.

Family Gathering

The property is well kept and accurately represented in the listing. We had a multi generational group and the location has a variety of things to do to accommodate many interests. Hiking, boating, swimming, kayaking, relaxing, etc., either on property or within a few minutes drive. Jivka is an exceptional host who is genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable and memorable. We appreciated her clear instructions and knowledge of the area that made this a succesful famly retreat for all of us.

Guys ski trip

Clean place well stocked to cook in with lots of rooms and beds. Living room furniture layout is a bit awkward with most seating on one wall, suggest moving a couch to where TV is maybe, put to on wall below stairs? I dunno what but that is only thing. Hot tub fits 4 easily. The clean up rules are a bit more than typical, hard to accomplish and still get on the first ski lift on last day.

Wonderful stay and great food

Had a family gathering of 8 adults, one infant, a dog and a cat. Everything was great from beginning to end. Jivka provided clear and quick communication. We hired her and her daughter to make us dinner for two nights. Both meals were delicious with some great left overs. This was a real convenience due to Covid. Jivka really impressed us by getting the damaged deck repaired so that we could enjoy the hot tub. The 4 days we spent went by quickly. We even got in a ski day at Mt. Snow. Thanks for the terrific hospitality.

Good, but...

The house is great, way better than the pictures. Very clean, super comfortable and organized. The communication with the host is also very good, she answers any questions you have right away and she tries to make you feel welcome in the property, but she is very controlling. Despite of that, we all had a great time!
