”We only stayed one night and it was an okay enough experience, the staff were friendly and room clean, with ample parking. The amenities in the room were also good for our needs and really nice having some outdoor space. The on site pub was really nice and cosy with some board games which was nice to spend a relaxing evening playing. ”Badic accommodation. Poor value for money. A pub with rooms. You could smell the fried chips when you opened the door in the car park. The staff were jobs worth and not welcoming. Poorly maintained property which felt grubby. My room had a sash window broken so couldn't open it. Only good thing were the bath towels and good mattress. Pillows awful. Make sure you don't have a room on the front of the hotel as the noise from the road is continous through the night. I would not stay there...

”Breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent, the evening meal also. The staff at the hotel made the trip, they were so nice, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Beautiful setting was nice to have a drink by the river in the evening after a day of exploring.”

”The historic building is simply beautiful, very charming, and well-restored. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was well-equipped. The service in the restaurant was very friendly but extremely slow. The food was rather mediocre. Breakfast was actually quite poor. There was barely a tablespoon of yogurt with the granola, and the toast was cold and hard like rusk. The location itself is beautiful.”
