”Hotelli sijaitsee liikennevalojen vieressä ja aikaisempii kokemuksiin perustuen, emme olleet kovinkaan ilahtuneita saatuamme automme hotellin pikkuruisesta porttikongista parkkialueelle hotellin taakse. Mikään hotellissa ei kuitenkaan vastannut ennakko- odotuksiamme. Hotellissa on viehättävät oleskelualueet ja ravintola. Aamiainen erittäin hyvä. Huoneemme oli kaksi kertaa tavallisen huoneen kokoinen ja siinä oli jopa pieni vaatehuone. Mukavuudet erittäin kohdallaan, eikä minkäänlaista ääntä...

”A relaxing weekend, the room was clean and quiet, the staff were helpful and polite and the food good qulality. There was plenty of parking at the Hotel and in the town and made for a lovely weeken break.”

”Fantastic stay in a beautiful village right on the edge of the Cotswold. The entire place was really lovely, including the staff - I actually booked for the wrong date but they quickly fixed everything and was able to adjust. Rooms was excellent, very comfortable and beautifully decorated, I also had dinner in the garden and the food was delicious. Added bonus that the village is where some of Downton Abbey scenes were filmed so that was fun!”

”Very pleasant experience. Clean modern room and helpful staff. Cosy restaurant with good drinks. Breakfast is freshly prepared according to your choise, a bit heavy though. Rooms are located in a separate building near a big road so we heard a little bit of noise from the traffic.”

”I have stayed in many hotels but this was one of the best. The staff were very friendly and accommodating the hotel rooms here large and nicely decorated. The gardens provided a perfect setting for a late evening drink and winding down after a busy day. Yes there are probably, better hotels out there but for our stay this was a 5 Star event.”

”The room was clean and comfortable, with everything you might want. Without exception, the team of people running the accommodation and the adjacent pub and restaurant were friendly, efficient and committed to making our stay enjoyable. We had both breakfast and evening meal in the pub restaurant - the breakfasts were good, and the quality of the evening meals was far better than we expected from this type of establishment.”

”The staff were fantastic both at the hotel and the diner. The room was great apart from technical issues with our television which staff tried to fix. But it kept breaking again , in the end we gave up as out of the 3 day stay here it worked for about 2 hrs on and off. We gave up and used a phone to watch the world cup! Not quite the same but staff did give us a complimentary breakfast on departure as an apology. Parking facilities great, tea and coffee in reception. The toiletries in the room...

”Sauberes großes Zimmer im kleinen Häuschen Visavis dem Gasthof. Schönes Badezimmer. Abendessen sehr gut. Fangfrische Forelle aus dem Dorf! Frühstück englisch, Kaffee unbrauchbar. Aber Nespresso Kapselmaschine im Zimmer. Die Lage! Sind in der Früh um 8 zur Arlington zum Fotografieren (nicht mal 5 Mi uten zu Fuß) und hatten die für uns alleine!”

”Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain...

”Loved our stay in Bibury. The accommodation was great, very well located, lovely breakfast, helpful staff, and clean bedrooms. My only issue was with parking. I understand that this works on a first come first served basis which makes sense, however it seems a little strange to not have enough parking spaces for the”

”I stayed 2 nights at The Bell Inn, and found it to be quiet and comfortable. Tucked away from the crowds, but within easy reach of all the charming Cotswold villages. The food was also tasty. They do an included continental breakfast of yogurt, granola, fruits, croissants, and jam. But ordering dinner there is worthwhile. Nice place for a pint and a pizza.”
