Security officer was parked across the street in the evening and at night so we felt safe leaving our cars in the free on street parking we found within 1 block to the building. It's conveniently around the corner from my favorite jazz clubs on Frenchmen: Snug Harbor, where I had tickets to a terrific sold-out show, and the more casual Bamboula's. The room is tastefully furnished and has two comfortable chairs, allowing me to host a friend who dropped by and admired the digs. It was my fifth time in NOLA, and the 2nd time I visited during a cold spell, so I was thankful that the room provided heating as well as A/C....
