”We liked the location. The washroom has a floor with quite a slope on it so the shower water can cross the floor to a drain under the sink.The drain was very slow , up to 3/3 of an hour to drain; so you walk through water on a sloping floor. Staff just shrugged and said its just like that. No room cleaning, the matress is wrapped in plastic, sweaty to sleep on, the place is terrible and i would not stay there again if it were free ”

”I booked at Golden Gates years back, it went great! I recently booked again at GG because of my previous experience with them. Golden Gates again was a great experience. Staff were very nice and professional. My flight was rebooked and I needed to stay an extra night, the transition was very fast and easy. Stores are nearby to purchase any necessities. If I’m ever in Dumaguete again, I’ll be staying at Golden Gates without hesitation. ”

”The location is in an elevated setting quite high in the mountain offering guests a clear view of the trees and peak of the mountain range. The owner Dan is pleasant and offers guests a tour of property and shares insights on the surrounding area. The inside of property is neat and organized for guests. If you have children, the local dogs on the property are quite noisy all night (5-7 dogs) and seem to act as a security detail. ”

”Stayed here several times when passing through Dumaguete. Nice open air breezeway. Short walk to Rizal, 7-11 across the park. Got a room with two beds, both the room and the bathroom were large, good aircon and tv. No breakfast resto anymore, but there is a new coffee shop in lobby with Filipino foods. Siren nearby went off twice around 9 & 10 pm after I was asleep👎”

”New apartment but nowhere near downtown, it was almost walking distance to the airport even though when I researched it before booking Google maps has it near downtown. Another problem is that the AC is woefully inadequate for the size of the apartment so it never gets cool enough plus the AC is the old box type and not inverter so it's somewhat noisy. On the upside it's a huge apartment with a TV with YouTube connectivity so there is plenty to watch. It's a new place so if you don't mind it...

”J'ai séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel tres sympa. Ma chambre était propre et bien agencée. Le lit etait confortable. C'est un endroit calme de San Juan, situé à 15 minutes de marche de la plage, environ 15/20 minutes du port en tuk-tuk. Le restaurant italien attenant est un pur délice. Le personnel est chaleureux, accueillant et souriants.”

”The staff was very hospitable, friendly, well organized and very professional. This property is a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city life, very peaceful and serene.
