”Property is right on the beach and the staff was very friendly. We didn't see any bugs, the AC worked, and the bed was okay. Those are the pros. The cons... I was disappointed overall. This is not what i expected from a Wingate by Wyndham property. It wasn't the cleanest. The hallways, stairs, and walls were all a little grotty. We only stayed one night and so it was bareable, but i will not be reserving this hotel in the future for our stays in Galveston.”

”A little run down, but clean. Beds a little firm. Breakfast was a joke. Very little food out, by the time hash browns were put out, eggs and sausage cold. Attendant not very competent. Found out didn't have needed equipment to prepare sufficient food.”

”I got to the hotel right when the power got back on during the storm this last week. The young lady at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate people. Phones were going off and the line of people went out the door. She stayed calm and professional. The team working during the storm were amazing. ”
