”Had an excellent stay. This hotel felt like a hidden gem! Was here for two nights with my boyfriend, where the room was very clean and well kept. The pool and jacuzzi were also very clean. The staff was very kind and helpful.”

”Balboa Bay Resort gave us one of the best hotel experiences we have had in a long time. If you want to experience what top-notch customer service truly feels like, this is the place.
My spouse and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate our 5-year anniversary, and as a same-sex couple, we felt completely welcomed, respected, and cared for from the moment we arrived. The staff was so accommodating, warm, and genuinely kind.

”One of my better stays in a Marriot, for sure! 3rd floor bay view room was spacious, comfortable, very quiet and offered a nice view to the estuaries across the street.
Hotel staff all very kind and professional. Breakfast and coffee were delicious.
Some outdoor maintenance needs some improvement. I walked to the parking lot to my car and back a few times and noticed trash items either dropped or blown in from elsewhere. Saw outdoor maintenance blowing leaves and trash and left lots of trash...

”The room was clean and looked great with beautiful tiles, especially in the bathroom. Noise is a problem with the adjoining room. I could hear everything just as if the doors were open, every cough, sneeze etc. I kept my voice down while on the phone because I didn’t want to disturb my neighbor. They only offer coffee and tea in the morning with some small pastries and the coffee was not for me. There was no restaurant as mentioned on Expedia and the beach near by was too rocky for me.
