Vanha, mutta mukava hotelli
Olen yöpynyt Danat -hotellissa useita kertoja, joten se on aina varma valinta. Hotelli on siisti, mutta alkaa jo olla vanha ja nuhjuinen. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä, mutta käytännön asioissa on aina jotakin vikaa (huonetta ei saada ajoissa, netti ei toimi yms). Aamupala on runsas ja monipuolinen. Allasalue on siisti ja viihtyisä. Tenniskenttä ja muut urheilumahdollisuudet ovat erinomaiset. Hierojalla kannattaa myös käydä!

Hieno ympäristö
Olemme yöpyneet hotellissa aikaisemminkin ja edelliset kerrat olivat tosi mukavia, mutta tällä kertaa kaikki ei mennyt aivan yhtä hyvin. Saimme huoneen, joka ei ollut valmis, vaan sieltä puuttui minibaari, parvekkeelta istuimet, ei ollut hengareita jne. Joten valitimme ja saimme uuden huoneen. En tiedä, johtuiko tämä kaikki siitä, että hotellissa oli aulan remontti meneillään, joka saattoi aiheuttaa nämä ongelmat. Huomasin myös, että vastaanotossa olevat virkailijat olivat hyvin stressaantuneen oloisia, aivan toisin kuin aiemmin, jolloin he olivat ystävällisiä eikä näyttänyt siltä, että heillä oli kiire. Mutta nyt näki, että he olivat täystyöllistettyjä ja puhelin soi koko ajan ja vastaanotossa oli koko ajan ihmisiä valittamassa. Olimme varanneet huoneen 2 yöksi ja hämmästyimme seuraavana aamuna, kun hotellin virkailija tuli aamulla kysymään, että "tehän lähdette tänään pois - siis check out! Huonesiivooja ei myöskään täydäntänyt minibaaria siivouksen yhteydessä.

Avslappning o firande
Vi hade ett trevligt dygn på Danat. Rummet var ganska stort och med en balkong. Dock ganska osköna stolar så man kunde inte sitta så länge o njuta. Rummet skulle behövas förnyas/renoveras lite. Speciellt toaletten. Maten var väldigt god! Poolområdet lugnt o bra bara det att det fanns en hel del små minimyror som bet en så det gjorde ont. Skulle vara bra att lägga ut nåt medel o bli kvitt myrorna. Det pågick ett bröllop så väldigt hög musik spelades till kring 04 vilket gjorde det svårt att somna. Vi blev överraskade med en god tårta då min sambo skulle fylla år. Mycket trevligt! Thank you Danat for our stay and the tasty cake!

Returning to the Danat Al Ain Resort, formerly known as the Intercontinental Hotel Al Ain, felt like a nostalgic journey for me. Having grown up spending considerable time in this hotel, it was heartwarming to see the familiar building, now beautifully upgraded while still retaining its charm. The staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly, making my stay feel more like a homecoming. Their welcoming and attentive service truly enhanced my experience, reminding me of the many reasons I cherish this place. A standout during my stay was the Arabesque restaurant. The culinary offerings were superb, combining traditional flavors with a modern twist – a perfect representation of the resort’s blend of heritage and contemporary elegance. I highly recommend Danat Al Ain Resort for anyone visiting Al Ain. Whether you're returning like me or discovering its delights for the first time, the resort offers a unique and memorable experience, steeped in warmth and luxury.

The only person good in the facility is Mr. Mahmood... rest all including all Housekeeping and receptionist were below average... they gave us a room where the table was dirty the sofa's were dirty... and when they shifted us the Ac in the hall was not working.. dissatisfied with the 5*hotel

Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else.
The hotel is old and the rooms are outdated. The furniture is worn. The walls are very thin. We have stayed here twice and had three different rooms, each was very loud. We re-booked the hotel because it had a great rate, but we regretted it. The staff was professional, but they don't have much to work with.

I think this hotel is better for families. I was traveling alone and there was constant noise. Children running and yelling in the lobby, in the elevators and in the hallways. The parents weren’t much better. Talking loudly in the hallway early mornings and late evenings. Over all my room just looked old. It was clean, but it definitely needs an update, especially considering the other hotels around Al Ain. I wish I had stayed somewhere else. I Don’t recommend this hotel if you’re alone or want some peace. Probably great for families though.

Not what I expected. Service was quite poor with less concern from the staff regarding the comfort of customers. Nevertheless, there were few great staff members who did their best.

A relaxing family stay -good with kids
A short break for our family of 5 with our elderly mother. The restaurant staff were very helpful and accommodated our needs. Special thanks to Okye in the restaurant and Roberto (who cleaned our room) who went over and above to serve us. A big thanks to Augustine (valet staff) for his sound trip advice! Despite breakfast being a little hectic (school holidays and post- Christmas), we had a great time.

My mixed opinion
The hotel was great overall although some things were old the hotel’s furniture was good and the hotel was beautiful the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming and professional as well some of the staff we saw really helped were Arrel, Helen, Fatima, and Okey. This hotel really lacked good hygiene in places such as the public bathrooms and services but the rooms were extremely clean. This hotel is great for families with a reasonable price overall 8 out of 10

Old and noisy, but okay for the price
The property is old. The rooms show a lot of wear and are very noisy. We heard everything our neighbors said. But, the amenities are pretty good. Our daughter loved the trampoline!

Don’t stay there
The room was dated, the bathroom had mould in. There was no other milk than full fat and semi skimmed which is a problem if you can’t drink cows milk. The staff were unhelpful. The tv in my room didn’t work

The hotel is very outdated. The rooms are very old and the carpet needs to be pulled. I was very disappointed when i arrived to the room. The pool was very nice.

As Expedia vip expected good treatment during check in but there was no benefits for being a vip member and no benefit to book a vip hotel agian if they didnt honor the membership.. Last time for thos property with all the lies during check in telling this is the last room with king bed and no upgrade because only twin beds available While you can see easily online the status of the property Shame
