”Check in was quick and easy, the only problem for me was hauling my bags up the outer staircase. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite shower room was also clean.

”We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.”
