”We have just arrived home after an excellent weekend at hotel 52. The girls in bar and restaurant could not do enough for us, and the food in rango's was very good. The only downside was as the weather was very sunny our rooms were very warm as there is no AC. But that said we will definitely be back.”

”Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. ”Very clean property throughout. Very helpful staff. Room clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi connection constant. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked/presented. Would definitely stay again without hesitation”

”Excellent hotel . Our room was spacious, clean and had the benefit of air conditioning which was very welcome during this present heat wave. The lobby had an air of luxury and the gym was excellent. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and courteous. All in all we had a lovely 3 night break and will definitely be staying there again. Highly recommended.”

”Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists.”

”Room was clean and comfortable, staff were courteous. We had a problem with the lock on the outside door and struggled to get into the hotel when we returned. There was no one to contact if we had been unable to open the door ”

”There was no breakfast available despite the description stating there was. The bath had no plug & the electric shower was very temperamental (from cold to scalding). The decor left a lot to be desired with nails/screws sticking out of the walls. There wasn’t a TV in each room & bedroom furniture was unstable.”

”Fantastic location. Ideal for what we needed but also really rural-feeling and peaceful. We found it quiet and charming. We enjoyed wandering in amongst the old orchard and down through the copse, across the scrubland that forms part of the floodplain of the Tyne. It was good to know there are badgers around although we weren’t lucky enough to see anyway. The dawn chorus was impressive. Very pleasant indeed. Definitely will book again if we’re back in the area. ”
