”We have just had a wonderful stay here as my other half was doing the Great North Run. The staff were so helpful polite and attentive. The room was excellent spacious .really comfy beds full bathroom and had everything we needed as well as very quiet. ”Had a lovely relaxing time with my girlfriend and her husband, room was so clean and had everything we needed, absolutely loved being able to log into Netflix on the tv which was a great size. We were checked in by a lovely young man who also served us our food, he was very attentive and even brought us extra sides for our burgers. ”Beautiful grand hall set in beautiful grounds, didn't spend much time there, due to stay related to attending a wedding near by. Hotel contacted us before our stay to check any requests and were kind enough to say even though check in not till 3pm and we needed to be at our wedding for 2:30 said we could leave our luggage and do the check in process and collect key after the wedding, but when we arrived the room was ready so they let us go straight to the room. ”A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. ”
