”Excellent - friendly hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and way above the star listing in terns of facilities. There is a pub below the accommodation but there is no issue with noise. The food is very good quality and plenty of ir. This pace is my ‘go to’ on business to the North East ”
”It was lovely. We were well looked after. The staff and locals were friendly. The Stables were a row of Butlin’s style chalets. It was perfectly set up for self catering with a fridge, toaster and microwave. ”

”The manager Anna couldn’t have been nicer. She greeted us with a cup of tea and biscuits and allowed us to check-in early and was very helpful with suggestions of things to do in the city. Rooms were comfortable and quiet and included on-site free parking. Location just a short walk into the centre. Breakfast also very good with lots of options. ”

Only bad part was that there were not enough usb charging ports by the bed, but it’s not a big deal. Probably our best stay on our England trip.”
”On entering the property we was greeted by the reception staff they were very friendly and helpful, they made our short stay feel at ease, had everything we needed and the owner was so polite even carried my bag upstairs and said anything we need just ask. Evening meal was delicious I had chicken fajitas with everything on the plate to add to the meal I Also ordered proper chips which were delicious. The Bed was really really lovely and comfortable and the room was beautiful

”Our room was beautiful. It had a king size bed and the en-suite bathroom was a good size. The only downside was that the toilet flush handle was broken but still worked. It could have done with better lighting in the bathroom as you couldn’t see in the mirror very well. The room was immaculately clean and had a sofa and tv with easy to connect to WiFi. Personally I struggled with comfort of the bed as I found it too soft but it was dressed with clean sheets and had extra pillows in the wardrobe....
