”A lovely hotel in a nice neighbourhood. Value was good for NYC. Rooms are nicely decorated and good size for the city. Might be a good idea to bring earplugs though. Our room had no view, so ask for a one that does if that is important to you. Staff was friendly and helpful.”
”We just wrapped up a 10-day stay at Hotel Beacon in New York City, and it was the perfect spot for our family. Traveling with two small kids can be tricky, but this hotel made it much easier. The kitchenette in our room was an absolute lifesaver—having a place to whip up quick meals or snacks for the little ones was such a relief. It’s not something you find in every NYC hotel, so it really set this place apart for us.
The location on the Upper West Side is fantastic. We were just a short walk...

Only downside was the breakfast, which we Europeans most likely just expect to be different. There was basically just sweets and pastry, no bread/ healthy options . ”

”Great hotel! The rooms are small, but very fresh! The bed, blanket and pillows are very comfortable and fresh. The hotel's location is good, the subways are nearby, central park is also within walking distance. The cafe downstairs is absolutely wonderful, very good coffee and delicious breakfast. ”This is a small hotel with great staff and excellent location. Rooms are very small so if you're someone who likes to spend a lot of time in your room, this is probably not for you if you're more than 1 person. But we were out and about most of the time so it was perfect for us. Two suggestions: the outdoor patio needs attention in order for guests to use and it would be helpful if the room with multiple tables could be opened before 9am since the available tables around the coffee area filled...
”Luxury hotel with excellent location. The staff was otherwise very helpful and polite, but both when checking in and when checking out they were almost rude. We did not have any issues either time, so it was surprising. Odd to place persons with such low service attitude at the front desk. ”

"Hyvä hinta-laatusuhde sekä ystävällinen palvelu. Kivenheiton päässä Time Squaresta, silti suht rauhallinen sijainti. Heti naapurissa 24/7 paikka josta sai mm. aamupalaa, lounasta sekä muuta syötävää ja juotavaa mukaan otettavaksi tai paikalla syötäväksi. "

Aamiaisen sai arvoseteleitä vastaan noutaa viereisestä kahvilasta, valikoima voileipiä ja makeita leivonnaisia.

The location on the Upper West Side is fantastic. We were just a short walk away from the subway, which made getting around the city super convenient. Central Park is also close by, which meant plenty of green space for the kids to run around. Plus, there are tons of great local spots for coffee, groceries, and dining, so we always had options.
The staff at Hotel Beacon were genuinely friendly and helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed and were great with our kids, which made the stay even more comfortable. We felt welcomed from the moment we checked in until the moment we left.
Overall, Hotel Beacon gave us a great base to explore NYC, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend it, especially for families!"
